What exactly do motion values do, I’ve heard it a lot in games but I’m not sure what it actually does

@@sharkguy6427 percentages of the overall atk of the weapon. Lets say the weapons atk displayed is at 500, and a moves motion value is 10, it will do 50 damage. Kinda works like percentages. There are still alot more things that will factor into the damage like sharpness modifier, hitzone value of the monster, affinity, etc. but thats the main idea on how it works

@@bowserfriend Any weapons can beat LS in DPS. It ranked 10th in speedrunner tier list for a reason. It a defensive weapon, it not meant to deal massive damage. It might look cool but it hit like mosquito bite.

we’ve been able to do that since mhw mounts but what the real upgrade is if you wanna sharpen mid-fight you can just mount your palamute and just run around while sharpening to not get hit instead of sitting still and sharpening, praying the monster doesnt look at you

I don't get the rolls in this game did they change the i-frames or is rathian roar just super long at 2:23 the roll looks almost perfectly timed but he still gets hit by the roar. I was also never able to dodge rathians roar with a normal roll.

Awesome watching you play the demo Canta. Question- I haven't been able to activate the "infernal melody" so it's called. The notes say that once the circle for it is charged by attacking, you can press ZR to activate it after the R+X move or after one of the silk bind moves. I've been trying it but the move won't activate- I don't know if the the window to time it is short and I'm missing it, or something else. I'll keep trying but if you have any knowledge on that I'd be thankful.

You can activate it after the big Valor recital or the Slide Beat using ZR when the meter to the left of the musical staff is full. The window is pretty generous, but you can mash ZR to make sure

@@tessamarci That's what I tried doing (mashing it) but it wasn't working. I was really tired though. Gonna give it another shot tomorrow and try to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Did you changer the buttons profile in parameters or try mashing other buttons ? I did change the profile since type 1 wasn't good for another weapon for me. So ZR doesn't work for me, it's R instead.

Of course. Apart from recital and encore, the only 'old' move they removed is the double right swing, which would have been obsolete with the new HH mechanics anyways. So yeah, HH still plays pretty much the same way as before, despite all the fancy and seemingly complicated new moves.

I’m curious wether or not they put some modifiers in the demo so that more people can enjoy it. KO values and base damage feel buffed up a lot. I main HH and I wasn’t expecting such a strong difference, getting multiple KO in a hunt is much more easier (and it’s good 😌). Let’s hope they leave it as it is now for the full game.

Fill the gauge then you can press zr after the trio special attack thing or a recital to do the spin move HH had in world for echo notes. That spin move plays a special song. For this HH it's the song of raging flames that further boosts your attack for some time.

There is no element in the demo. Your main will surpass Hunting Horn in the main game later on in high rank with more element.

There was no nerf, the hp bar that is shown but not filled is what you get with the health boost skill, the armor just doesn’t have it so that part of the bar isn’t in use

@@Nightmare41919 Max potions does not increase your max hp to cap any more. The only way to increase your max hp is to find bugs. The bar just helps you show how much max hp is the cap from obtaining bugs, and it does not require the health boost skill.
