Guard point is actually very easy to timed compared to rolling Fyi you have about 1-1.5 second of guard timing compared to 0.1 of rolling

Don’t feel bad about mistiming dodges. By default the game gives you like 2 i frames so evade 1 will only give you about .2 seconds margin of error

Evade window level 1 or level 2 even is not enough. You need evasion level 3 for any meaningful ability to roll through attacks, and some attacks have lingering hitboxes. Guard points in this game seem a little less forgiving than in Iceborne but they’re still fairly easy to do, and counter peak performance is just automatic guard point with no knock back and no timing required unless you’re using offensive guard

Dont believe so it take a lot of practice and knowledge of the weapon to do this without micro adjusting the right position. Til's a monster hunter veteran so he can execute it just by having a rough estimate. My tip is to get comfortable in the training room

This makes me wish I was able to get into Rise Charge Blade. It carried me throught World and the story of Iceborne, so it's disappointing that I can't seem to get the hang of it in Rise. It doesn't seem like much has changed.

Every monster you fight will not be the same size, some bigger some just smaller. You can clearly see this in the quest that requires you to hunt 2 of the same monster and sometimes they're like giants and a kid when they run to each other. If you want more information just search crown monsters

Yes it is. I wasn't gonna use it but the update for consoles was the one right before sunbreak so it is solid compared to when rise first launched
