One key difference that not many people know about is that Army SOF (including Delta) are trained to stack for breaching / clearing with rifles at the low ready; while SEAL teams are trained to use the high ready. From what I was told it is just due to a difference in doctrine origin and nothing else. You can actually see the CAG teams in this video using mostly low ready in their stacks. Just interesting in my opinion.

The reasons are mainly because high port obstructs your FOV, especially with SOPMOD accessories when clearing rooms. It also requires multiple body-mechanical motions. SEALs got their high port technique from a shotgun shooter in the 1980s. The Unit got low ready from SAS and vetted it with human performance researchers who specialize in optimum biomechanics science. If you enter and clear with someone crouched down in the room in your path, PID is difficult and leads to hesitation.

Yup true. Beckwith went on an officer exchange program to serve with the SAS. He used his experience, expertise, ideas and tactics from the SAS and modified them to form Delta. But of course over the years, their training and tactics kept changing to improve.
@CaliPlays56512 жыл бұрын
Charlie Beckwith wasn't trained by the SAS. He commanded 3 Troop - A Squadron based off his experience as a Green Beret member. Beckwith, after leading the SAS to numerous successful operations during the Indonesian Confrontation, was asked by Peter de la Billiere to share some of his tactics he had learned as a Green Beret with the SAS. In conclusion, Charlie Beckwith was a product of the Green Berets that further honed his already deadly skills by leading the SAS into guerilla warfare.

@@joshuawood9055 Sorry Josh, it was. "This week onlookers in downtown Los Angeles ended up witnessing the flying skills of the160th SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment) “Nightstalkers” pilots who were involved in urban training over the city between the 4th and the 9th February, as part of exercise “Emerald Warrior/Emerald Trident”. The 160th was in a routine exercise to insert and extract personnel from USSOCOM (US Special Operations Command) using MH-6 Little Birds and MH-60 Black Hawks when its helicopters have been spotted by several onlookers. Social media immediately erupted with posts showing the spectacular footage of the aircraft in action. MH-6 helicopters were seen inserting operators on rooftops, while Black Hawks touched down minutes after to swiftly extract the operators exiting the buildings at street level. The LAPD had issued a statement informing the public about the exercise from the US Army, so it is highly probable that the units involved included the Rangers, the Special Forces, and the highly secretive 1st SFOD-D, better known as the Delta Force (even though the presence of one or more SEAL teams cannot be excluded). Once landed the operators proceeded toward their objective, which could have entailed intelligence gathering on people and infrastructures. Live explosives and attack dogs have been used during the exercise, which points to the fact that part of the training could have been aimed at practicing raids to capture or eliminate HVTs (High-Value Targets) in highly populated areas. A Navy surveillance airplane P-8 Poseidon and a pair of U28-S were also deployed during the exercise, which mainly took place in the greater Los Angeles area and the port of Long Beach."

Don The bong last time I checked Britain invented delta force because u lot didn’t know how to create special forces
@donthebong90634 жыл бұрын
@@syed7923 nope. Charlie Beckwith, who was commander of his SAS squadron created Delta force. Beckwith is an American who trained the 22nd SAS. Why do you think General Sir Walter Colyear Walker asked him to train the SAS? Because the 22nd were facing severe Casualties and failed operations in Malaya... American special operations is the reason the SAS, which was originally disbanded, exist to this day.
@syed79234 жыл бұрын
Don The bong Beckwith never trained the special air service he was an exchange officer in fact he copied the tactics of special air services including this he was unimpressed that US army didn’t have an sas type unit besides Britain has other special forces unit special boat service elite and better than SAS

@@jaydenshepard7928Agreed . But I would also contend with Israeli SOF teams as well. Now to clarify, although I agree that European SOF lack the supporting infrastructure and logistical abundance and superiority shared by USSOCOM, specifically JSOC, all shooters talents are honed without the fancy tech. Alot of reddit /social media discussion/comment sections suggest wrongly that US dominance in this arena is mostly due to their technological advantages. I would, along with others, would argue that is only a contributing factor. All shooters go through OTC without their fancy toys.

Just started watching these vids....great production! This is my 9th video or so, I noticed this video had several scenes shot from the High Profile Extraction from L.A. out of the wierd named building which was quite obviously a front.....since this extraction like a year ago or more, I have been SOOOOO curious as to the HVT! I have no clue what it was, chemical, maybe biological, whatever it was it has some direct correlation to whats going on right now with the coup situation which is why Im so damn curious as to the HVT......probably will never know, but damn if it doesnt intrigue me to no end!!!!
@MHSProductions4 жыл бұрын
Probably the L.A. situation was an exercise in preparation for a real op or even a stand by op, like an HVT in a UBOA in some shit country. 160th SOAR and some SMUs often train in cities to keep sharp their capabilities in raids in big cities, since its not so simple, because of a lot of moving parts.
