Hi Michael, I took the Work Traits Assessment on May 9. They got back to me via email to let me know that it was received correctly, but I haven’t heard anything yet. I know there’s no timeline for the zoom interview, but I can’t help but wonder as time goes by. Do I still have a good chance, or has too much time passed? You said your friend got a response rather quickly so I just figured I’d ask.

Hello Michael, I have recently applied to the United Aviate Academy and I’m thinking of applying to the American Airlines cadet academy too. I just have a quick question, how long does the application process take? Like how how long should you be expecting to wait in between sending in your application and your first day of flight training. I’m curious because I’m currently a senior in college graduating in may. I don’t want the problem where I send in my application a bit too early and then my start time( if I get accepted obviously) ends up being a month or two earlier than my college graduation.

You should definitely apply, since applying is free. You can choose a start date that works best for you. The whole application process takes a few months. Once you get accepted you can choose a date that works best for you. Hope this helps!
