@@NotTheMadKing well I heard back from them in a few days after I applied and then told me in a email that I need to complete the assessment and then if i do good in the assessment i will be sent another email about the next step which is the interview portion of the application. Do you have a PPL? and also did you make a good resume because that has affect on the application.

I think of mentors as books: If you are not proactive and go to them, they are not going to come to you. You said that you were not sure if your mentor was supposed to reach out to you, or the other way around. Who has the questions and who has the experience, and may have the answers?

This seems like a route for someone to take who wants to be a pilot a little later in life like late 20’s/early 30’s to make up for lost time. Two big questions: 1. Did you apply/have any scholarships during the process to help reduce overall cost/have money to spend while in the program? 2. I know that airlines won’t allow visible tattoos but employ people with them provided they are covered up at all times while flying/commuting to fly. Are you able to have visible tattoos (like forearms and legs) in the program/have to cover them up?

Been enjoying your videos Michael, very insightful and always some good takeaways. Curious if you’re open to some direct messaging over email? Your remarks about Coast Flight Academy resonated for sure. I’m enrolled @ San Diego and will be starting in a couple of months (all things considered). My questions have to do with specificity in the deliverables (as advertised by the Academy) relative to both Coast and the AA Cadet program, as well as overall exposure to recruiters/airlines/tee’d up interviews, and what you experienced up against the VALUE. Promise I won’t waste your time, but your experiential insights would be appreciated as it seems you’ve gone through the exact same path that I have planned very soon. Are you open to a direct line of communication?
