Great review for practical purposes. I was not really looking for a container but will have a second look at this type of container

I love how these chinese brands {like timemore and MHW3bomber} take the risks normal companies don't want to take. allowing more innovation in the coffee space, instead of staying to the same overused templates that will grow stale or are bad for long term use
@mycoffeeshow1114 ай бұрын
@@darknessblades I do agree with you. It is a completely different business model. I guess that access to almost infinitive and cheap labour and huge domestic market helps with that.

i think 200g of coffee beans storage is a big disadvantage . i buy 250g bags that come sealed with a one way value, directly from the coffee shop. so that canister wouldn't work for me. btw, i have their older "regular" air tight container which looks nice and you can pump the air out it , but apparently it's not very well sealed , as its button always lifts up for me after sometime (so air comes in - probably)
@mycoffeeshow1114 ай бұрын
@@anonylesss thx for sharing your experience. I usually buy 1kg bags as they are often cheaper and I can easily go over 0.5kg per week. Coffee has no chance to get stale with me 😛

@@mycoffeeshow111 haha great stuff. i buy 3-4 250g bags of different beans :)) 20g shots are the trick

You should try the Soulhand Canister. I have been using it for over a year. Highly recommended

Biggest disadvantage: volume. 200g is too small. The vast majority of european coffee roasters sell their coffee in 250g packaging (+ 500g & 1 kg)
@mycoffeeshow1114 ай бұрын
@@GabrielGGabGattringer yeah, the only solution here would be to buy multiple canisters. Luckily for me, I have many around.

So, once you take away the dials and gizmos, you can't even create a vacuum like an Atmos, or reduce the area like an Airscape? Oh dear. ☹
@OilBaron4 ай бұрын
Vacuum sealing is overrated, airtight is plenty.
@FatNorthernBigot4 ай бұрын
@@OilBaron I always finish my beans quickly, anyway. However, the Airscape solution where you remove the space above the beans is a good one. No vacuum required.
@mycoffeeshow1114 ай бұрын
@@FatNorthernBigot well, but it has a spoon 😛 I thought I won’t like it but it is very handy for daily coffee storage. I also have 3 Fellow Atmos and 2 Airscape but not sure how to objectively compare them all.

@@OilBaron vacuum could be better for long term storage but with the amount of coffee that I use, any airtight container will do.
@FatNorthernBigot4 ай бұрын
@@mycoffeeshow111 Creating a comparison video would be difficult, I agree. You'd have to play the "long game" and store the same beans in all three devices for a couple of weeks. It would be an interesting comparison, as every home barista stores beans 👍😀
@petres58664 ай бұрын
Such a gimmicky product… does it have anything useful compared with just keeping the beans in the original bag? Bags have one way valves and roasting date already doh 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@mycoffeeshow1114 ай бұрын
@@petres5866 I see your point. I would say it is sealed better than a bag that was already opened and it protects from heat as well.
