For flying I saw a GS speed runner throw out smoke bombs to make him land. He will look for you with the "?" icon appearing on the map. It proves to be more effective than flash pods since it also works while he's enraged

I've seen some great Alatreon runs already, once you figure him out on the ground you can focus a lot more on the head, too! :D Probably not a monster that'll be locked to death.

Alatreon would slap both Nergigante, Ruiner Nergigante, and Akantor into next Tuesday IMO. All of those monsters have at least some weakness to thunder and dragon, and I doubt any of them would stand any chance against a Black Dragon. Ruiner might be able to put up a fight, but it would lose.

Dr. Phil Regular, some of those hits are like 1/5 or less of you hp. For me it feels like I get hit for 1/3 or more and I’m using Health Boost!

Danke Richard, ist halt Übung. Wenn du dich ransetzt und es tatsächlich willst, dann wirst du mit der Zeit besser, kommt man leider auch mit Talent nicht daran vorbei. Aber wenns dir keinen Spaß macht, würde ich dir definitiv davon abraten. Der erste Encounter war auch echt schlecht, 17 Minuten ist nicht gut. Ich mag Englisch extrem gerne und beschäftige mich mit der Sprache schon lange, Anglistik wäre auch ein Studium, dass ich in der Zukunft evtl mal anstrebe. Zum einen betreib ich den KZbin Channel natürlich wegen der Reichweite auf Englisch, aber auch, weil ich schon seit 3 Jahren in der Journalismus Szene unterwegs bin und für ein Spiel mir dort einen riesigen Namen aufgebaut hab: das ganze natürlich auch in Englisch. Mittlerweile besteht so ziemlich mein halber Tag darin auf Englisch mit Leuten zu reden / schreiben und Artikel zu verfassen :P :). Hoffe du verbrutzelst nicht auch, hier ists gerade extrem warm.

It's because I only attacked the backlegs that receive shitty ele damage and also used dragon instead of ice. It's not that hard to achieve.

​@@Dr_Philliam No. If it wasn't hard, then you shouldn't have failed. The fight is made difficult due to garbage design. Relying on the most piddling shit the devs constantly held back or botched so fucking hard that raw attack, even against Alatreon is STILL the better option. That one check is borderline un-soloable. He's immune to one of his two greatest weaknesses. That means you can get ice and still get fucked if you fail to break the horns. Easy for YOU since you're a fucking speedrunner. It was never a question if you can do it. The elements that always do damage will always fail. He's still going to change forms without his horns; you delay the inevitable. Some of the walls aren't walls and don't you fucking dare tell me that's not true. And the special assignment starts you in the fight, so the SOS HURTS you most of the time because most randoms can't do it and it takes them a while to get there. Time you don't have to waste. This fight is such a joke. It's fake garbage. It doesn't incentivize doing better nor to get OPTIMAL piece of shit elemental weapons. All it does is push people to circumvent the issue. Like winning by simply killing him before he nukes you 3 or 4 times. Get an extra life. Do good. You're done.
