MHW Iceborne | All 171 Switch Axe & Charge Blade Designs (4K)

Nobody on youtube would ever be crazy enough to attempt such a video. That's why we did it. Everyday we will upload one video - for the entire week. This was an insane amount of work to put together even if you can't see the effort behind it very easily. Hope you enjoy!
We rendered those weapons ourselves pulled the data right from the game. You can't find them in this quality anywhere else.
We intentionally left out some of the slap-on designs which are essentially the same just with a different tint. 171 refers to more or less different looking designs.

@@Asriel_Cypher I like that water switcaxe too, the one where the sword is two sided and the axe blade becomes the handguard. It looks a bit weird on your back though. The one from the water-electric rainbow monster folds a bit better if I remember correctly.

Would have loved to see the weapons in their morphed state, so the Switch Axes in Sword Mode and the Charge Blades in Axe Mode. You cannot get this information ingame except by building it and going on a quest. Maybe content for a part 2 video? 😁

It did, in monster hunter 3tri: it was called "Sinister Saints" and it was badass as hell! The axe was the grim reaper with his scythe, and the sword was a soul coming from the scythe held by the reaper

Barroth SA makes good use of the hybrid monster & iron/bone base design imo. While it it's built upon the Bone Tree, the Barroth tree still somewhat retains its classic look from back in Tri. Hell, the Barroth parts looks nice on some of the ore base weapons via Augments

I know I'm gonna sound super petty but OMG the bone/ore and random monster parts look was so infuriating! Especially for monster that had unique designs in past games. When looking at the ore/bone weapons and comparing them to the unique designs it felt like night and day. So many missed opportunities!! I love World/Iceborne and have over 1000 hrs in the game, but man I'm never gonna get over that. Ok, sorry for ranting just really wanted to get that off my chest.

Debatable opinion: the bone and ore designs for the weapons aren't bad. Its just that they are reused so much for weapons that could have gotten much better and more unique designs.

It's just so weird that certain monstersnwoukd randomly have unique designs. I would always go to the smith and frantically look around the crafting after i killed a new monster to see if it made an interesting weapon

Never forget to recharge your vails. The little cup looking things under your stamina. If they go red for too long it will just bounce off the monsters skin. Biggest hurdle i had when using. It's real fun tho.

vampire build is trash, regen augment level 1 is better. nergi swaxe is ok but once u can get safi and kulve/alatreon ull go for them rather than nergi swaxe :)
