@@SleepingCuga Hi there, to unlock the option to create layered weapons, you need to unlock the tundra region of the guiding lands, which i believe is the final region of the guiding lands to be unlocked. So there is no special layered weapon like pickaxe's layered weapon on longsword or dual blade swordfish layered weapon in switch axe? great video!

Hi there! Yes there are no special layered weapons for switch axes. Quite a few other weapon classes don't have special layered weapons too, such as lances, gunlances, charged blades, bows, heavy bowguns, and light bowguns, if I remember correctly. Got the Fatalis Swaxe before I even got to MR 100 lol. And it looks great but kinda boring but honestly so many of the Swaxe designs do and it bums me out. Awakened Safi Swaxe has the coolest Axe look of all the Swaxes. Then the Sword mode looks like a used toothpick or dull backscratcher and fucks it up for me. Ruiner Nergigante Swaxe looks great. A bit plain looking but still super solid not a fan of the mechanical parts as much though. Shara Ishvalda is god tier too bad Gold is ugly.

The chest, arms and legs are from Gold Rathian Beta. The head is Legiana Beta+. The waist is Silver Knight, which is a paid DLC from the deluxe edition of the game. Hope this helps! ☺️

Jesus, why is every switch axe in this game so ugly? Frostfang Barioth and Shara Ishvalda are the only okay looking ones.
