I'm actually really happy that we got stygian zinogre. I mean i know some people think of him as a reskin but with world subspecies have changed, i mean they didn't change much but I'm really happy because they gave the subspecies new moves and everything.

Out of all the monster from all the monster hunter games I played, zinogre is my absolute favorite from his moveset and armor it gives The fact that it got the mhw treatment and got a subspecies makes this hunter really happy

I heared Stygian Zinogre was also planed to be in Sunbreak, but was cut from the game because he would have been in almost every MH game since his first apperance in 3U only skiping GU. There are still some remains of him being planed for Sunbreak, they gave Furious Rajang his new volttackle move and Violet Mizutsune with its homeing bubbles a extremly simular move to old Stygians homeing dragonbugs attack. Stygian Zinogre would have really fit into Sunbreak.

Guys, I have what I call a 'cheat'. So you basically get a lightning element dual blades(maybe around Zinogre's fulger+ is good enough), have full Namielle alpha set, and put whatever decorations you want. Your basically immortal. You can dodge Stygian's attacks endlessly. Also Safi and Rajang(or furious)have a baby.

I know it's a bit late, but: Finish the Iceborne storyline (Shara Ishvalda), unlock the Guiding Lands, then do the post-game storyline (the purple exclamation marks on your map in 'ice town'). Once you've accepted them, I believe the quests show up under 'special investigations' :)

I want to do this event but my armor is sort of bad against dragon and I already have trouble with the og zinorge. ( mind you my armor is good against thunder ) So I’m scared if I’ll have even more trouble with this guy. Could be his final form! Think about it, the dragon escapes and probably descends deeper in the search for more energy to absorb. When he gets said energy I believe he will evolve into his black dragon form which is probably his final (seen in the teaser). That’s just my opinion!

If you're on ps4 then press L2 right after a level 2 or 3 power charged attack finishes. The Game Economist has a really good video on the hammer in iceborne and he can explain it better
