Here’s some ideas of the set used in the vid (00:57) 1. I was going to go for raw as always, but judging from people’s reaction to the Eschaton on my twitter, I thought element would be better. 2. By the look of the each state’s element hitzone in the past MH, water seemed the most versatile.

Great work! Few minutes ago I managed to pull my first solo SnS run (after a few tries) and my tips I can give to peeps running solo from my fight is that: - Water/Dragon/Thunder seem the most usefull all round the fight (I myself used water, but stacked max attack instead of water attack for more raw) - I feel it's better to stick to rear legs while refreshing tenderize with claw uppercut now and then to be safe (he tends to swipe with his front claws often, and while charging he usually won't hit You) - If its not enraged you can safely clutch claw to it's head during flying breath attacks (like 7:55) without being knocked off and flinch shot him - Fortify is your friend in case you wont meet DPS check - In case you won't make an DPS check just go to him and squeeze some combos for extra damage if you're going to cart anyway - There are lots of moments you can squeeze PR combo after/during each attack due to backhop i-frames (I was using evade window +3) i.e.: * Lightning Strike (14:18) if you target rear legs you should be most of time safe, lightning strikes rarely occur at his own position * Circular Fireball (15:09) standing in 2nd/middle circle and backhoping in time should net you a ideal PR combo timing * Dragon Blast (15:19) fairly easy to backhop in time also should net almost full PR Anyways, I will be waiting for that sub 15(10?) min run Zen-sensei! I hope I can learn even more from You!

Solo SnS? You sir have massive balls and I respect you a lot. I'm going to treasure your advice. Are you using a similar build to Zen-sama or did you do something different?

@@brodericksiz625 Thanks, although my runs do need a ton of practice, I do stupid mistakes here and there. As for the build I was using 5 pcs of Safi along Kjarr Water SnS, and Attack Charm 5, my skill list was something like this: - Critical Eye 7 - Attack Boost 7 - Evade Window 3 - Health Boost 3 - Critical Boost 3 - Blight Resist 3 - Agitator 3 - Item Prolonger 3 - Protective Polish - Fortitude I was thinking about dumping Agitator altogether and boosting evade window +5 for survivability (and more aggressiveness) and changing Attack Boost for Water Attack, but I'm still too lazy to upgrade my Flood Charm.

Gurei Thanks a bunch! I'll probably go the element route, since I have upgraded all the charms and, with the safi armour, I can reach some pretty disgusting numbers when it comes to elemental damage, but I will definitely keep in mind your advice

Thank you for the hunt! It was fun and useful to hear your thought as you try to figure out the monster. Definitely harder to talk and hunt at the same time when it's a new monster so it's a different type of entertainment.

My first run was with Safis Boltbow and I just stuck to his tail when he was in dragon mode and focused on his head during his other two, and trust me, doing elemental damage HELPS with his supernova, I barely had a problem with it but I've seen other videos of it wiping teams. I can't wait to try this guy with SnS but I don't think I'm good enough with it yet to get a successful run. Great vid as always, love your content.

Zen, watched the entire video despite not understanding a word you say. Yet I still love hearing your reaction. It was SOOO MUCH fun and very relaxing, your first run was really funny and then by the second run you seemed to have already picked up a lot of useful skill and tricks to avoid Alatreon's attack, that was really impressive. 36:36 I think you didn't realise the blade is rarity 11, and can be upgraded to 12, haha. I think the blade should come with critical element too, what do you think? Thank you for the wonderful content, I think I might just be able to solo Alatreon with SNS.

I think at 36:36 he was surprised/confused, why the un-upgraded version had more elemental damage than the upgraded one. But idk much japanese so take what i said with the biggest grain of salt.

@@lian3766 Not sure about his confusion but he was looking at a different R12 (Stygian) weapon at that timestamp. I am guessing the surprise is more that the R11 version of Alatreon weapon is almost as strong as the R12 weapon of Stygian Zinogre

It's pretty easy if you can do a lot of element damage because it turns his supernova into just an undodgeable attack that doesn't cart you. I did it first try (with 3 faints thanks to insurance lol) with Safis Boltbow and just unloaded on his tail the entire time he was in dragon mode and focused on his head during the other parts

The weapon you are looking at is the Rare 11 one. It can be upgraded to R12, which is much better.

I'm sure he can speak english, but not, ugh, using his mouth. Japanese pronunciation is really different from english so people usually struggle A LOT when they try to smooth their japanese accent. I'm not an english speaker myself (not japanese tho) and I sound cringy af even while trying my best to speak english. It's really difficult to do when none of your relatives/friends speak english, especially when your speech apparatus is adapted to only 1 language. Considering this, I highly doubt we'll ever hear something besides "HEPPI HANNTINGU" quote
