This is the best SnS guide I've ever seen. Not only your teaching very clear and easy to understand. You go in-depth and discuss so many vital points necessary to reach the mastery of this weapon. Your tempered Velkhana hunt at the end is the brilliant way to conclude everything you've taught us. Not only that, you also taught many info that is much needed for people who wants to play SnS (or any weapon) in the high level. I've tried to speedrun Velkhana myself (having inspired by your runs) and I just constantly fail because I don't have what I lack, why does my FB->PR combo miss the head so often (because I didn't use Evade Extender 2), why does my CC does not working (because I don't know about stagger threshold), and most infuriatingly, why does instant backhop always turns out to be guard slash (because I tried to press all 3 button as quickly as possible without a proper order) this video point out all the details that person who first attempt to play SnS advancely might experience, and tell them how to fix it. I couldn't be more grateful to your guide, it must have take a lot of work to do. Thank you so much!

I really love how all of the sudden I'm finding tons of *actual* speed runners that are very good at the weapons to give guides. Usually I only get people that play this game more for fun so they only explain the base combos like arekks or rurikhan to explain weapons and no offense or anything but they don't go into enough depth because they don't know all the ins and outs. They don't explain the exploits/ best times to use combos/ all the very slight details like you speed runners do! :D

Wow, absolutely fantastic guide. Thank you for both part 1 and 2 and the english subtitles, by far the best SnS guide ive seen. Really awesome to see you put it all together in the Tempered Velkhana fight at end too, make it look so easy. 10/10

Absolutely wonderful stuff. I imagine it took a lot of work doing graphs, side-by-side comparisons and the like. But it's a wonderful and very well explained guide. I absolutely loved it!
This is Super Helpful!!! I have been following you since your part 1 video. With Part 2, I can now understand many moves you performed in the videos before. Your dedication to the video is well received by the audience. I can't imagine how much time you devote to the video with all the detail explanation, and title and video. Thank you for the English subtitle so that a Taiwanese like me can understand your video!!!

I think this is not only the best SnS guide but the best guide for any weapon in MHW. It covers some things I didn't know even after 1000 sns hunts, and it's still very clear so I can recommend it to my friends who don't play the weapon.

This video guide is seriously incredible! While there are tons of resources out there talking about set builds and such, resources talking about how to improve your own play are rather few and far between. And many of those that do exist are terribly dated and/or lacking in detail or directed tips and advise. This guide, however, is so detailed and complete, including practical application and demonstration, it may just be the most comprehensible weapon guide I've seen yet for this game. I'd recommend this video to anyone interested in SNS in a heartbeat. I get that the set one runs is important, but I feel like people are so obsessed with the statistical min-maxing that they forget to properly learn and improve the actual gameplay of their weapon, a lot of the time. I recently picked up SnS to try something different (Gunlance main) and I just know this will be a big help in improving my play. Major respect for your work!

This is by far the most informative SnS guide series. Very clear and easy to comprehend. I've only played SnS since PC launch and you have taught me so much with your guides that I wasn't aware of, such as why my backhop sometimes came out as guard slash (wrong button order), priority for FB vs PR, that pressing forward slightly increases range from backhop, etc. Thank you so much for your guides Zen! I look forward to part 3 if you decide to do one. Maybe specific monster tips for challenging monsters that SnS face, Odo and Diablos personally for me are still quite hard with 600+ SnS hunts under my belt.

This is the masterclass of my dreams. If you've invested yourself already into SnS, you can see that every problem and mechanic you stumble upon by playing and watching speedruns discussed in detail. It's easy to follow and still holds many wow Moments. Especially the distant adjusting after the slinger burst and its creative use in the valk run at the end got me. Outstanding! Thank you very much for the hard work! Stay healthy

Thank you for the in-depth SnS guides Zen. I picked up SnS because of you and Hank's runs. People think that I main SnS because of the backhop dodges and frequent clagger/topple of PR "Oki seme"(I'm still not that consistent though). I had to observe and slowly digest your moves since the controls for the core moves of SnS play is quite tricky. I'm glad that I got most of 'em right and I still learned the little details of SnS play through your guides. Keep up the good work and keep safe. Thank you again.

Learning that Evade Extender (and by extension, Evade Window) works with the backstep helped alot. I knew it counted as an evade, but for some reason I never register it was one in my head lol
@goldilockz524 жыл бұрын
Cannot thank you enough for the concise and quality content. Picked up SnS after the PR buff and have 300 hunts with it but had NO idea you could alter the distance of your leap during a charged slash, and that evade extender 2 was actually used for reasons other than comfort in builds. Now I just need to work on turning my camera and my character at the same time during falling bash. As a type 1 user, I find this really difficult and I often miss the backhop after falling bash due to the camera.
