Absolutely loved this! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this guide and also include english subtitles! I really enjoyed you spending a whole video on the SnS combos and even going so far as to say "Hey, don't worry too much about DPS, focus on actually hitting stuff". Ever since the introduction of Falling Bash in World and the recent Perfect Rush buff in Iceborne, people talk about SnS as if it only has those two moves. I'm also guilty of playing it like that! So it's nice to see someone go so in-depth into the rest of the moveset. Keep it up!

片手剣メインですが主さんや他の投稿者さんには遠く及ばない並ハンです。 質問なのですが、主さんは旋回ループ中も△や○は連打ではなくコンボごとに単発でボタン入力しているのでしょうか？ 私は旋回ループのテンポには判断と入力が間に合わずコンボが途切れてしまうため、突進斬りの途中から△連打→盾コンの手前から○連打→回転切りの手前からスティック入力しつつ△連打みたいに旋回ループしています…。

To put it simply the motion value is the percentage of the weapon's attack value a particular attack does before being modified by monster defenses. If your weapon has 100 attack value and the motion value is 15 you will do 15 damage. Well you won't do 15 damage because there are a lot of other factors that go into it but 15 will be the number that gets put into the rest of the equation. Attack Value is the number you see on your weapon + any buffs you have.
