Absolutely amazing to watch you. I only got to Base Nergigante yesterday in the story. I dealt with him well enough. But the moment I try to farm him for materials, he keeps killing me. I find it hard to get to his spikes that I want to break, but I am loving the challenge so far. I can only imagine what it's like fighting AT Nergigante myself in the future

If you’re struggling to break his spikes, focus on them while they’re still bone colored/dull white. Once his spikes fully harden they’re like iron and you won’t be able to break them until he regrows more. Hope this helps and glad you’re enjoying the story so far!

I'm trying that, but I'm having trouble reading his movements so far. I can't get in the proper position to hit the arm spikes yet. So far, he's my favorite hunt though. He reminds me of Tigrex/Nargacuga with the sheer relentlessness, he's become one of my favorite monsters of all time.

xXxThaiSon96xXx if using a Kjarr critical element CB you’ll want to max your affinity(Max crit eye, weakness exploit and maximum might if you can fit it/need it) after that. You’ll be using lvl5 of whatever element you’re using. Hope this helps

You do not need to put your weapon away to sharpen. Only when trying to use whetfish scales.

@@Geordie6740 Quick wheel definitely makes locating high priority items a snap, which I use for sharpening, but even with the whetfish scales for some reason they make you sheath, the sharpen. (But in 2 swipes) Definitely be using the quick wheel though! 😎👍
