MHWorld Iceborne: Ruiner Nergigante Longsword Solo 5'48 TAwiki rules

Pretty hard to get something clean vs Ruiner as expected, so I'll just post something to kick off my iceborne speedruns for now, will improve later. No clutch claw used. Ruiner still has a few "pepega" moves that come off insanely fast; it's just they can't be spammed 5 times within 4 seconds like AT Nergigante, so it feels more fun to fight at least.

Yes, even though perfect runs are objectively better, I personally like when they get hit even once or twice, it adds more to the run. Of course if they're going for wr then it's understandable to go for a perfect no-hit no-roar run.

Great run with the LS congrats, also i can't help to notice its aerial attacks seem to be off the angle towards the intended target for some reason, which is funny as Nergigante aerial attacks has better precision than ruiner nergigante?, maybe they might fix that for Tempered Ruiner?. Correct me if i'm wrong.

It's a very small time window. Best is to press the button the moment you get hit. Try to get a feeling for that. Or try to look at your Hunter and when you see a blue flash imediatly press the button.

Hitting 4 frame windows in Smash Ultimate feels easier than Iai slash - it seems like sometimes you have to see the attack hit you before you press the button. At 5:43 it looks like Nerg's roar screen shake happened before he actually does the counter

From what I have seen yes. Just as the attack would hit you. Evade window doesn't change it like I hoped it would. You still take damage when you git it correctly but it is drastically reduced.

@@JpegDog i usually run 3 piece teostra being head, chest and arms. Garuga legs and depending on sharpness of the weapon you can use the acidic glavenus belt for handicraft and a handicraft charm but if it has a good chunk of white sharpness but doesn't reach purple then you're free to play with whatever option on belt and charm

Also if you're using a blast weapon you can switch teostra chest for teostra belt and got the chestpiece free to play with just as long as you're able to reach crit eye 7 or just depends how much crit your weapon has
