Zinogre's always pretty messy to run, his active hitboxes on some of his attacks are instant with the animation, making it somewhat of a pain to consistently out-maneuver. Will come back to this later.

Diablos is not good anymore,Acid glav has same damage without negative affinity and theres Rathian CB for infinite white sharpness,same raw with Diablos/A glav plus poison.

@@osirisavra1301 the only sort of "advantages" acid glav has over gold rath is the ability to reach purple and non elemental boost. unfortunately its only 10 units of purple, takes handicraft 5 to get, and purple is 1.39 damage multiplier to whites 1.32. for charge blade 10 units is pretty much unusable as guard points eat sharpness regardless of masters touch and razor sharp so you have to run protective polish which is already a niche in itself. as for non elemental boost the poison damage makes up for it. you'd think that if something had purple, high raw, and can use non elemental boost would be better but it isn't necessarily the case otherwise shara would be the weapon of choice. gold rathian has very good white sharpness to use with master touch or razor sharp, the same raw as acid glav and diablos, 10% affinity, and good slots. diablos and brute tigrex can't be used since there are no easy sources of affinity to get so they are out. so it's pretty much a 2 horse race between gold rath and acid glav and rath is winning. and then you have pepcb

You right but many monsters that are weak to elements have weird hitzone values so its not always good. The phials spread and hit on parts that take very small damage,thats why impact is still viable,ignores HZV.

@@_syzygy_ Even if you just SAED spam, affinity will always be stronger than just some extra phial damage you'd get from artillery. Just getting a crit on the SAED axe hit will give you more bonus damage than you'd get from the 6 explosions with extra artillery levels. And that's not even counting all the extra damage from crits with your sword. Going for maximum crit + crit boost is now meta even more than it used to be, on absolutely every weapon, because of the really high raw you can get from MR gear.
