@Foods and Flavors Very informative. I have another doubt which i came to know recently but not sure whether it is true or not. Few old people say that mud pot should be used for cooking only for 15 - 20 times and after that we have to discard it and buy new. Main reason is that the pores gets blocked because of our food substances so it is no more useful for healthy cooking. When i asked this in FB group, few ladies told me to boil water nicely in used mud vessels and squeeze half lemon while boiling and discard that water. This way the blocked pores will open up.. Kindly comment ur opinion / experience. Thank you

Hope I won’t break any pots any more, I soak them on water for 24 hours before use though, still they broke😢

In Kerala every home cooked with earthen pots . Even when I moved to the North, I bought these utensils. Now everyone wants the latest utensils and many in cities have stopped using these utensils. Bring it back as it is so practical and food cooked in it is flavoursome.

Ye mitti ke bartan Diy mould me liquid mitti me bhut sare chemical dal ke bnaye jate hai or uske bad inpe camical paint se polish kiya jata hai jisse ki inka poras pan or ander ke mitti ke gun khatam ho jate hai or inme khana bnane se bhut khatra hai , inka bnne ka process dekhe . Hmesa Chak pe bne mitti ke bartan le jo pure mitti se bnate hai or unpe bnane walo ke hat ke nisan hote hai ....

धन्यवाद दीदी मुझे भी मिट्टी के इस्तमाल किये बर्तन साफ करनेका तरीका मालूम नही था मेरे पास दो बर्तन है मै आपने जैसे बोला वैसे बर्तन गरम होने के बाद सब्जी को अजीबसी महेक आती है आज मै आपने बताये तरीकेसे साफ करके देखूंगी

Nice detailed video!! To get rid off that bad smell if we boil just salt and water 5 mins and throw that water and then cook food into that pot , it might help.

हमारे गांव में इन बर्तनों के पीछे मिट्टी लगाते हैं और एल्यूमिनियम के बड़े बर्तनों के पीछे मिट्टी लगाई जाती हैं ❤ मेरी दादी जी को इस काम का बहुत एक्सपेरियंस हैं,,,,,, मेरी दादाजी दही छाछ प्याज लचुन मिर्ची कचरा की कढ़ी और बाजरी की रोटी बहुत टेस्टी बनाती हैं ऊपर से देसी घी डालकर ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊

Good info.. but your one of the pot is mould made.. the one which has mud handle is authentic clay pot.. it's made by Potter by hand.. mud utensils should be always hand made.. and way to find is it will be bit corse and will have hand circulation marks.. that's my personal observation.. as I too use mud pots a lot.

Original clay pots can not get that finishing and glaze.They will be rough. If you use thoroughly they'll become softer.

I have used it. Quality and taste of food is very good. But after some days, we feel bad smell of oil . Once oil is absorbed in the clay it doesn't remove from it

You have to heat them every time after washing as shown in video. It releases oil u have to clean it with tissue paper then put fresh oil and make vegetable. It will not smell

आप कहीं से भी मिट्टी के बर्तन ले सकते हैं जैसे अभी दिवाली के टाइम पर दिए मिल रहे हैं और मिट्टी के सजावट के सामान भी मिल रहे हैं तो वहां पर आसानी सेमिल जाएंगे 👍
