off topic 2 part question. 1) how do you guys like your cement floors in terms of comfortability for your feet and 2) didn't you guys seal the floors with sealant, which I think helps to prolong the floors from cracks (which they all do eventually I suppose). I am asking since i'm planning to do screeding also but was looking at microcement which is costlier but been told is better?

1) we are comfortable w the floor. It's actually not dusty/powdery if cleaned often. However, it does dry your feet alittle. The convenient thing (in a way i guess) is that if we wet the floor accidentally. Just left it, it will dry up fast. 2. We didn't use sealant, as we wanted the natural cracks and discolourations. My understanding is microcement is smoother and less prone to cracks etc.
