Hi, thanks for the review. I really enjoyed it. I am considering buying this speaker to replace a DAB alarm clock at my bedside. Assuming this speaker works as any other Google Speaker, may I assume I would be able to play any public local digital radio? The lack of that would not justify the replacement of the my DAB alarm clock. Please let me know.

Honest review ko dito ay ok naman overall problem ko lang ay bumibigay minsan or palagi pag nagpapa play ako ng music sa spotify. And sometimes need mo ulitin ang command mo pag may iuutos ka sa kanya :)

Hello Alvin, I use Apple Music and wala akong subscription sa KZbin Music and Spotify kaya di ko sya na-maximize sa part na yun pero tama ka, it still has its own bugs. Pero much better option pa din than Google Home Mini na walang display for its price. 🙂

Hi Saoirse, pwedeng pwede magset ng timer using your voice. Ask mo lang si Google. Sa latest firmware version pati, wala na yung Nap Timer. 🙂

Hi Dino Karlo, Mi Smart Clock will retain your settings as long as your Google account is still linked and the device isn't reset. You may use any micro USB and power adapter to power this. For the included charger, it's 120 cm long. Thank you. 🙂

Hi Mohdamir, if you want to purchase from AliExpress or Amazon, just make sure you get the Google or global version since there’s a Chinese version which is the Xiaomi AI one. 🙂

Hi Riccardo, the Chinese version is using Xiao AI instead of Google Assistant. It may work in UK like here in the Philippines but you will need to say Chinese commands so better get the global version. 🙂

Can you play Netflix or stream video from security camera from this device?

Hi Lloyd Cyrus, no Netflix or KZbin videos for this one. Aside from Spotify and KZbin Music, this serves as a smart clock, bluetooth speaker and a Google Assistant device. There are other videos here in KZbin where they were able to link their Mi security cameras to this device by asking "Hey Google, show me the [room] camera.". 🙂

Hi Feđa Hajdarević, this functions as a normal Google Home speaker but with some limitations. You can only control the light via touchscreen where your speaker is located (living room light bulb if Mi Smart Clock is assigned in living room). To control all your other devices, you will need to ask Google Assistant. 🙂

I dont get this product of Xiaomi. Would have been better if it's able to accept automation from other Xiaomi products. For 2k more, i can already get the google nest hub which is way better than this smart clock.

Using Mi Smart Clock, just change the clock face to Google Photos then select the album you want to display. I think your Apple ID should be logged in on an active Mac or iOS device before using it on iCloud for Windows. 🙂

I can always change my clock face then set it to Google Photos whenever I say “Hey Google, change photo frame.”. It just needs to hear your voice especially if you turned on Voice Match. Maybe try resetting your Mi Smart Clock if it still won’t work. 🙂
