Hello Jake. I'm not sure if you are the right person to ask, but I just wonder why is the ending with the baby revealed (that was a dark skin, hoof foot child with little horns on its head, and creepy eyes) impossible to find these days for this film's alternate ending? It was common to find in the 2000s on the internet, but now no one can find it anywhere anymore and all websites are now saying it never existed, but I just saw the extended ending about 13 years ago. And, it was one of the creepiest scenes of all time. They showed this version for television only (in the late 80s and early 90s). I wish I could ask Mia Farrow this... Why is this so taboo?

@@TheSledgehammer2024I was sure I saw the baby!!!! I wasn’t allowed to watch it when it was on tv, but my older brothers did, and I hid outside the door. Then I watched it again (and again) as an adult, and the baby wasn’t shown. I thought I must have imagined it. My brother even told me that they never showed the baby. You have just blown my mind. My own personal Mandela effect.
@TheSledgehammer2024
@TheSledgehammer2024 10 ай бұрын
@@dougspidermanhappy An old article on the internet (many years ago) said that the Black community in the United States complained about the demon child (around 2010 during the Obama years) because it resembled a Black evil looking baby. And it kind of did since it was black skin scaled with small horns and hoof feet. However, in order to save this film's reputation, they destroyed the alternate ending and have gaslighted all of us by lying about it being a "Mandela Effect" that never existed. Yet, my computer was mysteriously formatted 5 years ago through an automatic Microsoft update, but I had recorded this original ending with the ugly baby shown (along with many extended movie endings) that I don't have anymore. The image is still fresh in my head since I saw it not that long ago... Even if people try uploading this from an old recording, they might get their video deleted within seconds because Google doesn't want it exposed by anyone.

On one hand you have Mia Farrow, fragile, delicate, the kind of person who would jump high whenever her neighbors dog would bark but never wanted to address the problem to her neighbor cause she dont want to make a fuss about it. On the other hand you have Margo Martindale, the kind of grandmother who is sweet and making cookies until someone does something to her grandchildren, in which she would instantly turn into a furious dragon chasing after said people with a rolling pin. Both women are amazing actresses! ❤❤

Moses is an unreliable witness . At the time Woody's affair with Soon Yi became public, Moses wrote Woody a letter disowning him as a father and wrote that he hoped Woody would commit suicide. Several of her other children vehemently deny his claims. Moses also sent Mia a card when he got married thanking her profusely for being a wonderful mother. So which is it ? He can't be telling the truth all the time.

@boboloko
@boboloko Жыл бұрын
@@Juliet_Tobin I find him to be quite reliable. I’ve listened to him on several podcasts and he sounds very grounded and humble. He is clearly passionate about helping adopted children and their parents. He has expressed deep regret about his words against his father when he was a teen and offered a very plausible explanation. He feared his mother’s wrath while seeking her approval. She was the only parent in his life at that time. There was strong incentive to tow the line. Which children refute his claims? Ronan? He was four at the time. Allen’s daughters, Bechet and Manzie, are very outspoken about his innocence. Whereas you never hear much from any of Mia’s adopted kid’s besides Soon Yi and Moses. Three of her 9 adopted children are dead. Two and possibly three have disowned her. You only have three or four left. What have they said? How old were they in ‘92? Oh, and btw, if you celebrate Christmas, merry Christmas.

I'll remember her from the time she cut her long hair off in "Peyton Place" in 1966 when Mia looked the sexiest. In her 1997 autobiography "What Falls Away", the late Frank Sinatra loved her hair without fighting, so she decided to keep it short.

Why is the extended ending version of this film showing the devil baby impossible to find as of 2024? I remember many films had extended scenes in the 1980s and 1990s when shown on television (e.g. The Goonies, 1 Million Years B.C., Aliens, The Breakfast Club, Born In East L.A., Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Rosemary's Baby, and many other films). I read it was a way to discourage pirating vhs tapes back in the days. But Rosemary's Baby had one of the creepiest scenes of all time with this devil child shown towards the end... My mom, sister, and Godparents saw it too and still remember it as of 2024... I would love to ask Mia Farrow why didn't they include this as a bonus scene (at least) on a blu-ray? The movie 1 Million Years B.C. finally added all the extended scenes that were also shown on television back in days to a newer blue-ray after about 50 years later in 2017 put out by KL Studio Classics... Incredible... I wish this studio would release the extended version of Rosemary's Baby someday as well...

Rosemary is lovely. She is the kind of woman who men would slay dragons to protect. Her childhood was mid-western and God fearing. It is reflected in her innocence and femininity which is what makes the movie work so well. You want to protect her because you intuitively know that what she represents is the essence of life and a worthy civilization. The betrayal is so awful because she is a thing of beauty and grace. That being said, her own greed and pressure on Guy to take that apartment put them in the orbit of witches. Her desire of a worldly, fashionable life (and a shallow actor husband) caused her to put her own faith to the side so she could enjoy the sophisticated pleasures of NY. She is confronted with her own betrayal when Roman starts criticizing the Pope which makes her very uncomfortable but she has already chosen sides in her soul. She is ripe for the picking - as was Sharon Tate.

I don’t think wanting a more financially secure lifestyle makes rosemary greedy, especially since she wanted three children, it’s simply not realistic to raise multiple kids with little income, that’s neglectful

Plastic surgery disaster. Another great goes down. They never learn. She looks like she's been stung by bees. She could have grown old gracefully, she had the bone structure for it. Ever since "Zelig", when there was an elder actress playing Mia's character in her olden years, I though Mia is going to age like that. Silver haired, impeccable bone structure, etc. She looks like a wax figure of Mia Farrow....poorly done.
