Today we take a look at one of Miami Beach's less celebrated treasures: the Miami Beach Boardwalk. This 4-mile stretch of attractively paved walkway runs right next to the popular long stretch of white-sands beach along the famed South Beach district of Miami Beach city. Walkers get a relaxing space with great views of the Atlantic Ocean between the rolling dunes along the way. And equally great views through the manicured landscaping in the backyards of some of Miami Beach's famous hotel resorts. Enjoy watching health-conscious joggers going past and sun-soaked beachgoers crossing the path.

Nice video. I can see now. That the Boardwalk is nearly completed between 43rd street and 30 the street. Yes, it can be very hot in July and August. I live in Miami. I only go to the beach during the non Hurricane Season months ( June to November) From December to May. I go just about everyday. Because it the best time to go to the beach. But, when I do to the Miami Beach. I stick to beaches south of 5th street . I don't like going to beaches North of 5th Street. Too many tourist to deal with. I hope you went to South Pointe Beach . It's where the Local Miami people go to.

Thanks for the feedback. One thing I'm rather curious about is whether the wind we've experienced most of the times we've been out at Miami Beach is normal. I get frustrated at how stagnant the air is here in Miami so often. Even right along the bay here. It's frustrating to have it be in the upper 70's and still I'm sweating because of the incessantly humid air. I wonder if a constant breeze along the barrier islands would make up for that. Have an opinion?

@@MiamiRevealed yes, the winds are a constant thing in Miami Beach and Miami. The average wind is over 18 miles per hour. If the winds were to fall under 10 miles per hour. It would feel warmer. Winds can get over 20 to 30 miles per hour during the so called Winter months and higher during when Tropical Storms are near. And Hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean.

The longer you live in Miami. You will get use to the weather here. FYI. Miami had a record Rainfall of 97 inches of rain last year. This year is not on track for that amount. Unless we get a lot of rain in the next 2 months. Like I've said. I love the rain. Miami and Miami Beach are beautiful, because of that.

Thanks much. I recently got feedback from someone who apparently doesn't want me commenting. That's fine. I expect everyone has their own sense of what they want and don't. It's great to hear from everyone what they do like and would like.

Thanks for your feedback. I've found that most people prefer to have the music. In the early days I didn't do that. But another thing I want to point out is that my wife and I were having a long, winding conversation at the time. It would have been significantly worse if I had left that in. Also. The sounds weren't all that interesting IMO. Mostly just wind blowing on the mic. Thanks again. And welcome to the channel. Cheers.

We were tempted to walk that full length and then take a cab back to our car. But it was quite hot. I think Kira was not feeling so well from the heat. So we opted to walk back. I think sometime soon we'll have to visit South Pointe Beach and do a tour of the park though. Thanks for the implicit suggestion. And cheers.

It's a nice long walk. On a typical February or March day. It is less hot. Maybe up to 15 degrees cooler. Generally, I don't walk far point to point in Miami. Because of the heat of the Summer months of June to September. Because it's too hot. Thanks for the video. I see that many parts of the Boardwalk is finally finished between 43rd Street and 30th Street. I will be there soon. Maybe after the Hurricane Season. I live in Miami. I stay out of Miami Beach after June. Because of the heat of the day and the daily rainstorms each day .

More people are riding their bikes rather than walking LOL. It should be called the boardtrail instead...

A lot of runners and bikers. I think you see more bikers mainly because they are faster and so come by at a faster rate. I appreciate that the boardwalk is wide enough for bikers to coexist with walkers and so on.
