Josh, if you will look back and see what I told y'all at Florida, and I will tell you this, but I told you,we need to keep Mullin, have the Bull Gators, and the REAL HONCHO'S,say "Hey,boy, we gonna hire you a D.C. and an R.C. and you just keep being the head Coach and scoring ,just stay out the way when we don't have the bal"and told y'all,we didn't need to get rid of the best coach scoring since HBC!

First off, you hire a coach with skin in the game,Kerwin Bell, was my pick, I graduated from same high school, but this is really messed up, Spurrier dish ragged UG over 90%,like a drum every year but one,he lit teams up ,every game most every year, and left a program, why,are coaches to stupid to do that, say this is how you do it,and you never hire a coach with out skin in the Game and if we had too, should have hired Gene Chizic ,It's tough as a boy of 7 y o ,remembering Wilbur Marshall dominating Salisbury, and USC ! You can't allow a guy to keep coaching your team, I'm sick of this, what and why did Florida allow [the honcho] continue to do it

I wanted to believe in Napier, I really did. Like most Gator fans, I'm tired of the revolving door that the head coach position has become. That said, I have very little hope of things improving under him. We were promised improvements and yet nearly every aspect of the team looked just as lost and dysfunctional as they did last year. Take yesterday's post-game conference and the talking points sound like everything we heard all last season. At some point, all the coach-speak and promises have to be backed up by results on the field.

Well, I have been a Canes fan since I was able to watch football. As a kid living in Miami in rough neighborhoods and played 3 sports for the city. The city allowed us kids to go to the Miami home games for free. I watched the 80's hurricanes, the 2000's and 2001's Canes. I remember when the Football and Baseball team was running things in the early 2000's. Cam Ward is built different. If he continues to play with that "I don't care" attitude. Winning won't be a problem. He's going to work and seems like the rest of the team is following his lead. They go to work every day, get better every day. There won't be anything stopping them.

After the first two quarters, 75% of us knew. After the third quarter, some of us said maybe DJ can exorcise the Choke at Doak and lead a 28 point comeback. Then, Billy called three horrible plays in a row and 100% of us knew he was cooked. Billy will be fired by week 5. I say that because if we are 2-2 or 1-3 after week 4 and he is still there, UCF winning gets the entire administration fired starting with anyone below the interim president. As a Miami fan since 1969 Canes fans have seen both sides of the great and the bad seasons. This is a great rivalry we have with Florida and its always a week of football drama till the end of the game. This Florida team has a lot of very good players on it. IMO Florida has a very good defense, Good running game, good special teams. The offense is unknown only because we need to see Miami play some more teams to find out how good Miami's defense is and how bad Florida's offense is. I also think that Florida could probably beat most of the ACC teams simply because of their defense special teams. So just make sure you beat the brakes off FSU - Go Canes.

We are praising a team for beating a team that lost to KY last yr & lost to Arkansas last yr in the SWAMP!! Billy Napier is Derrick Dooley. He looks like a Dork. He doesn’t look like a HC!! I would not want to play for Billy Napier & I’m sure these players look at him like he is a dork or goof. They don’t respect him because I don’t respect him. And it’s soo funny that the media tried to push this dork to be the HC at LSU & then the media pushed him to Florida. Florida should fire Strickland ASAP. And hire someone that might actually go hire the right coach or perhaps the right fit for Florida instead of the hot new name that will blow up in their face. Having said all that, Let’s see Miami do that to Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Ohio St, I might even throw Ole Miss, Missouri, Tennessee into that scenario…

I had hope before the game, that it'll be a fight to the end. Hopefull Florida could get 5-6 wins looking at the schedule. After Miami its absolutely worthless. There's no energy, nobody knows what they're doing aside from maybe 2 players. They quit before halftime and it showed. My sorry ass Gators made the Canes look like defending champs. But Miami deserves the win. Those guys looked like they actually KNEW what they were doing. They showed up to play. And at this point if the Canes can beat FSU, it'll take the sting out of losing to em in the season finale. Calling it now, Florida goes 2-10 Napier should be gone before the Georgia game.

I never believed in Napier, and I really didn't like the hire from go. But, he is the only head coach the team had. So, I very rarely said anything negative about him. In fact, I was always quick to praise anything positive he did in order to try to trick myself into liking him more. Yet even I was amazed by how bad things have gotten. I don't imagine Kiffin wants this job anymore (Ole Miss is riding high) and Fisch just got a new contract with Washington. I don't think buying both Napier and him out of their contracts is in the cards. Not that it matters, because the AD will need to be replaced before the coach hiring, and before a new AD can be hired, a new school president needs to be hired. So, buckle up fellow gators, it's going to get real bad.
