The Bunny thematic is PERFECT. This is a game of the power of multiplication, and Bunnies know more than anyone about multiplications.

Two bunny ears up for the theme. It's unique and original. And the gameplay is awesome.

I love this game. The board could be bigger, yes but i have fun with it. I played it in Essen last week and like Sam i dismissed it until i played it. Bought it and had the artist draw a nice bunny on the inside of the lid. Awsome game.

I can definitely understand the criticisms on the way the components all come together, in spite of being,well-done individually. I wouldn't have even considered that aspect until the guys made it a talking point. The gameplay sounds fantastic, but I feel like I'd end up weighing it against the cost of third party "companion" components that help to clean up the clutter.

Zee hit it on the head with the same hang up I have on the game when I saw the size of board and how cluttered it looked.

I heard this was originally themed as a game about dwarves and mining. I know the fantasy theme is overused, but I kinda wish this had stayed with it. Dwarves are my favorite fantasy race, and I've found far too few games that make great use of them. Otherwise, this sounds fun, and since I know Sam likes it, and his and my tastes are normally pretty on par together, I would definitely take a look at this one. Not to mention it's Richard Garfield, so that also is points in its favor.

Sounds like the game could use a print and play larger copy of the board.
@marcoschaub89785 жыл бұрын
They made the board bigger for the second edition. But the could have made it even a bit bigger still, heh. But it's functional now. Where they're right: The last time you score it takes quite a while. For one, the areas are much bigger and there are tiles that weirdly connect them. And then you have endgame scoring. Roughly a third of the cards are endgame scoring cards, so everybody has a ton. That said, the game is great and a lot of fun. The only flaw I see in the game is the two endgame scoring cards that let you copy another scoring card. Because in theory that makes you go through all the scoring cards of your neighbor and see which one's best for you. It feels like they could have been dropped and no one would miss them.

Fixed it: Reskin it as Matt Groening's Life is Hell where Bongo the bunny only has one ear.

Great video guys! The game looks like a lot of fun; however, I tend to be sensitive to color combinations, and I find the yellow, red, and pink colored bunnies a real eye sore, especially the yellow and red, harsh shades on the eyes, so my question is.... Do the colors of the bunnies go with specific cards? If not, I'm thinking I can buy this game, and then paint the red/yellow/pink bunnies more neutral colors such as gray, brown, and white.

I really don't understand the small board complaint I see it everywhere with this game.... Hardest part is a bunch of one bunny feifs for some of the treasure cards in end game, but you can add up row by row and it goes quick

I can see this game getting a second edition or picked up by another publisher and them making the board bigger and improving on the game itself.

So it sounds like a publishing issue rather than a design issue. Iello should have known better than to make the board too small.

Maybe they should of done the bunnie ears down instead of up? Surely Sam can understand as due to his hands he has a huge issue with colt express.

I can't help but think that if you're trying to put down one of those corner markers once the board is covered in bunnies there's going to be carnage. Imagine if all eight squares around the square you want have bunnies in them and you need to put one in the middle! Seems as difficult as Colt Express for the larger fingered.

I was turned off to this game because I sat down to play it at a convention and the guy that was trying to teach it really had no idea what he was doing...he was just trying to get an extra draw in the “play to win” cup for it because you got an extra ticket for teaching the game. Half way through his explanation that was making no sense, I got up from the table and didn’t give the game a second thought...until I watched “surprises of 2017 again and saw it on Sam’s #1. Tell me how it is fellas!
