What was supposed to be a strength this year was the defensive line. Wha' happen'? They got gashed, sliced, diced and left grabbing for air. They had some players, some were banged up. Others seemed to recover an injury last year by losing some of their zip, punch, tackling technique. I don't want to name names (Mesidor, Bain) for reasons I'll keep to myself (not what you think) still, it starts at the top. Guidry, of course, committed professional suicide--at least at the major college level. I heard the 'Canes have a former Pro Bowl, Hall of Fame defensive lineman in charge of coaching the DL. How much of their regression is due to HIM?

OL gonna elite and RB game is gonna be legit next season. Run and pound game. Control game by running. You see what the passing game did to our defense last year. QB essential to passing game but also for keeping defenses honest

@@ohiohurricane9843 just gotta keep momentum and not let this year be a one off. I know we’re bringing in a big time dc, I’m hearing our main two candidates rn are from Tennessee or Will Muschamp. My fear is having an elite defense and no offense next year. I’ll be happy tho to close in a a strong dc and at least a competent qb. The people pulling for Williams are pulling with their heart not their eyes. Give me a competent qb until Nickel can take the reins the next year.
