I am a Clemson fan and I can’t believe that Miami let us fall ass backward into the title game. From what I see , the ACC does not have a dominant team this year. If it does , that team is SMU. I think Miami still deserves serious playoff consideration. They lost to Ga Tech and there is no shame in that. The problem is that late losses carry more weight than earlier ones. If they do get in , they need to get their confidence back somehow. My team fell on their face yesterday and needs to do the same.

If guys are missing tackles and blowing assignments sit there ass down if not that's how you lose your team. Our run game is what feared teams the most but we refused to commit to it. I really don't see NFL teams lining up for Porter Jr. and I'm being polite. Scheme aside... one on one football is "Jr. High play in the backyard" kinda stuff. He has been awful isolated in coverage. Poor angles, body control, shies from tackles, does not turn his head around to find the football, Etc. He made me cringe a lot this season.

I have said this from the beginning, if you don't hit the receiver when the ball is snapped you might as well give them starting blocks. Miami rarely, if ever, provides an impediment to their route. I have gotten into shouting matches on the field when the safety asked me to hit the end. And that was after I was already hitting him. In a game of this magnitude, you hit and set. Who is coaching them? The coach goes for a field goal from the 10 at the end of the game when you score a TD or go home. They should have kept Manny Diaz.

The guy fumbled (it was not an actual fumble) and the opposition threw a long pass into the end zone. The game was essentially over. The QB should have ignored the call and taken a knee. Mario called that! Who does this? Fourth and 10 with about two minutes left. It's not that you're going to go for it, it's what ten yard play you call. I was a defensive player. I'd be thrilled that I wouldn't be the guy that put Miami back in it if they scored. Mario cost this team millions. They shouldn't bother with another Lawnmower Bowl.

You said it.....players that left or we got rid of (not ALL of them) are doing well in other locations ex. Thomas Gore(for GT) played well against us, Brashard Smith is kicking butt in OUR Conference and that just tells me our coaches are under utilizing players, have them playing out of position, not clarifying game time objectives or simply not coaching to the best of their abilities(or need to be replaced). Mesidor, brilliant one year, now uncomfortable with lower production...LB #1(I forgot his name), a force last year on the defense, now lost and confused....Bain, unstoppable last year, now we're looking to see if he's out there.....the transfer DE from Tenn., beginning of the season he's lighting it up, the middle of the season til now he couldn't keep contain if his life depended upon it......enough...... All that being said, Mario went 5 and 7, then 7 and 5(reg.sea.) and now 10 and 2, we Have improved but WE NEED to GET BETTER, Special Teams(kicking, coverage AND Returns) needs to be special, our defense WILL get better(the boys need to take control of themselves and not depend on JUST coaching - be coachable but take responsibility) and the offense should never have to rely on one man heroics like this EVER again, it's time to get busy. TEAM WORK!!!! Go Canes!!!

I attended The U's game at USF in 2024. I thought at the time that the Canes' D was good, but as we've seen in some games since then, the Canes seem too dependent on Cam Ward bailing them out due to the D springing some leaks. I know Cuse is a good team, but a bona fide national contender should beat the Orange even in The Dome.
