David you had bunuelos on your trip to Nicaragua. You ate a whole bunch. You didnt recognize it because they make em flat in Nicaragua. That was more ball like. The flatness makes them super crunchy outside and soft in the inside. Love your Vids nice Viking look bro.!!

their tacos arent theirs though, those are called flautas in mexico and originated in Mexico, the issue is that a lot of central american countries adopt Mexican culture, cuisine, slang, music etc

Tacos its mexico, but there's a difference with the way Nicaragua adopts some mexican foods Enchiladas and Tacos are much different with how Mexico does them, Enchiladas in particular, as I do believe ours aren't nowhere near similar to how Mexicans does them Another thing, we use corn, tons of corn, which is why we are known as The Corn Children in Central America It is true some foods are inspired by Mexican styles, can't blame it, considering that Mexico also its the main provider of most Latin American enterntainment here in Nicaragua to be honest

Nicaragua does have chile but is usually the homemade style in a jar full of vinegar with spices it’s called a chilero and very common in fritangas & households, the spiciness depends of who makes the chilero and the how much jalapeños & other ingredients they use. At my house you’re always gonna find a chilero in the middle if the table
