After only one year of business, Miami University alumna Jane Frye ‘08 has been awarded a Michelin Star for her restaurant D'Olier Street in Dublin, Ireland.
Michelin Stars are awarded based on the quality of the ingredients, the harmony of flavors, the mastery of techniques, the chef's personality as expressed through their cuisine, and consistency across the entire menu and over time.
D'Olier Street Restaurant is owned and operated by Jane and her husband, James Moore. It offers a 13-course tasting menu and wine and non-alcoholic cocktail pairings. Jane credits her tenure working the steamers at Bagel and Deli with laying the foundation for her culinary ambition.
