Nice work, it is important for hardcore and casual fans as also researchers. I wrote about the influence of the series and it is under the title 'Miami Vice: The Revolutionary Series That Changed the Landscape of TV and Cinema' (I couldn't post the link). For example, Red 7's 'Hearbeat' is heard on HBO's 'Euphoria' as is also Depeche Mode's 'Never Let Me Down Again.' Keep the videos, they are amazing.

Thanks for another great trailer and for including Izzy. Brenda was Sonny's worst girlfriend. She didnt take his job seriously and she wanted him to be someone he wasnt

That's an interesting observation, Linda. I think the episode did a great job of showing they both lived in completely different worlds. Thank you so much for watching, Linda!

@@lazarusagame Right! He was meat and potatoes and she wanted him to be champagne and caviar. Based on Tubbs's conversation with her at breakfast, when Sonny left the table, he had her figured out from the very beginning

What a great trailer for a great Miami Vice episode. Of course it starts and ends with awsome Martin Ferrero (the One Izzy Moreno, who any size/part fits PERFECT) ! He would sale shoes to a dinosaure and say "You needed those!". Don Johnson (Sonny) had a lot girlfriends in the serie, but he was never Lucky in love all that long (as for P.M. Thomas/Ricardo Tubbs)... Kim Greist (Laura) was a serious love affair for Sonny after his divorce, until things went wrong with causing injuries to his partner because she didn't wake him up. This OMG scene reminds me his absence in "The Home Invaders" episode (former one) because of injuries he got IRL. I still don't know if that was Jim Johnston or Edward Di Lorenzo idea to implement this kinda scene here as a reference to a real fact from 1985? Maybe it was P.M. Thomas own idea after all ("this time people will see wounded") ? Red 7 - Heartbeat song is the VERY BEST choice for this special Miami Vice trailer that is linked to another Michael Mann movie : 1/ Michael Mann used this soundtrack in the Manhunter movie 2/ Kim Greist also played William Petersen's wife in Manhunter (1986) Another thing i noticed all along the episode : Michael Carmine (black Punk character), who lived in Brooklyn, New York, was the most talented actor to play a sociopath killer who's philosophy is "Death - the ultimate High". His performance in this part is still one that is used to show his face around the globe. Unfortunatly, he died in 1989 at age 30 and could only play in very few movies, like Leviathan (1989). Very sad he left so young...

Yes! I loved Mann's use of "Heartbeat" at the end of Manhunter. As for Michael Carmine, it's so sad he died so young. I remember him in Band of the Hand. Thanks so much for watching! I always appreciate your thoughts on these episodes!

@@lazarusagame Yeah, Michael Mann Production was involved in Paul Michael Glazer's Band of the Hand movie (1986) where Michael Carmine plays Ruben's character with great soundtracks from Bob Dylan, Andy Summers, Shriekback... But a lot of people still don't know Michael Carmine also had a very small role in Brian De Palma's Scarface movie (1983), before he was casted for Snake's part in Miami Vice. Long time companion (1989) was his final role as Alberto just before he died from heart attack. "Nobody lives forever" says this episode ? It's God Damn True!

Never understood what he saw in ugly Brenda and caused tension with Gina. Tubs was sharp- he told her like it is. Why did Sonny get involved with ugly girls when he Had gorgeous Gina
