What is the name of a 'good rootstock', where do we get them

It depends on what you are growing. Mangos are usually propagated on 'Turpentine' rootstock. Avocados on 'Waldin'. For a lot of others you can just grow seedlings and then graft in to them. The mango and avocado rootstocks may be hard to come by, so try to find a friend that has those varieties. You can also use general seedlings for mangos and avocados if you cant find 'Turpentine' or 'Waldin'. Good luck!
