Seeing how happy was for hendrix' goal is so fucking awesome. Can't imagine how the kid must have felt. Got a goal in his first game. Oshie pulling him up like he wanted to scrap he was that happy and to top it off. On the bench you have your idol smiling his head off so happy for you.

When ovie is on like tonight he is as good as anyone still at 36. Been so fortunate to follow him all these years. Great to see him have speed when needed. He definately weighs quite a bit less than in 2016 when it really looked like he was slowing. Had the shot that year, but not much more that entire 2016/17 and he looked slow and too heavy. After that he has been great again. Amazing to see. Slimmed down without losing power.

Blessed to live near Washington, DC, and witness the great 8's career. I grew up cheering for the Washington Capitals and the Baltimore Orioles baseball team so I have a classic Caps jersey with 8 (for Cal Ripken, Jr.) and my first name. @@Juanwepa_Inc It's not just equipment. The game is soooo much faster today and the worst players performance is absurdly high compared to the old days. Yes it was physical back then and the equipment shit, but the players were totaly out of shape, drinking beers, smoking and not taking care of them selves compared to todays Robots of all big sports. It is impossible to say how Howe or any other GOAT out there would perform in todays game. If they would have taken their talent to this level given the chance, but one thing is sure. They stood out in their Era and was the GOATS of Their time. No need to compare them really. Just my 2c

Greatest Capital ever! I've seen Langway, Hunter, Kolzig, Oates, Jagr, Gardner and more. None have done for Washington hockey, what Ovi has done. All the names I mentioned were great players and represented the Caps well. Met many of them when my son played for the Chesapeake Chiefs at Piney Orchard. All were great with the kids, even when they didn't have to be. They were all loved and admired by Caps fans. But Ovi, is just on a different level.

Anybody else absolutely amazed by how quickly the bench got Wilson a stick? The trainer and the equipment man have LASER focus and legit had one ready in less than 2 seconds flat. By the time Ovi said 43, the trainer was already on his way down the bench! Absolutely awesome.
