Could be the angle of the camera, but it also looks like he’s not taking this seriously at all which in my experience at playing goal and everything else in life leads to complacency and bad habits.

@@Captndarty I was wondering about that! Kaz is soooo good! Just weird to see him beaten so many times! But definitely looks like he’s taking it really easy no need to get injured for what basically amounts to “high level” Beer League!

This is a 4 on 4 league and summer hockey where pros aren’t really trying on defense which leads to lots of 2 on 1s and other odd man rushes so playing deeper in the crease during those scenarios makes it shorter movements to move when the puck is passed across the ice into a quick shot. It’s all about reading the play and giving yourself the best opportunity to make every save, and sometimes that means sacrificing some depth so you can get across the crease quicker.

KAS, is it the goal Pro because your playing extremely deep and I know your quick enough however I'd play high heels on top of the crease. Love the vids though.
