I just can't fathom that JJ Redick got drafted, played a long, solid, and storied career, retired, went to traditional sports media, changed to new media, and became a head coach, and Lebron James Was an All-NBA player the whole time.

JJ, don't blame Russell or anyone for not paying attention to details. Yeah the players need to be able to, but It's starts with you as the head coach to instill the confidence and to communicate clearly for them to have the clarity and motivation to execute and play at the highest frequency. It's your job to break down the opponents weaknesses to give the Lakers the best strategy each game to give them the best chance to win. Anything else is trickery/deception.

JJ, did you see that in the past 3 games "rui" didn't do anything, went down for 30 minutes, didn't score 10 points, he didn't run he didn't follow the ball, didn't jump, rebound, shot and missed, his friend shot, he didn't follow the ball. Let it go onto the field. I'm not sure anymore. Do you think you're really good at it? Dalton Knecht played 3 plays and scored 5 points. You won't let him play on the field. You'll trade him and let the kid grow up somewhere else No, train Dalton on the real field now. When are you going to train that kid? JJ, will you wait until he meets the game that will decide his fate or what? Will he be able to do it in time? The kid has skills. If the real one doesn't work out, make the kid the real one.

Line in a 2v2/drop BS situation where the big needs to decide they have to switch and send the guard to take the screener. Basically if the guard can’t catch back up to the ball by the time the ball’s at the veer line, you gotta veer.
