I have loved this kid from his first day at Oregon through all the ups and downs and he's always been the same sweet generous decent dude he was on day one. It was a bitter sweet that he's calling the rookies "kid" now. They grow up so fast. Soon he'll be a vet. I want the world for this young man. There isn't a nicer kid in all of sports.

Nice words. So true. When the pre draft was going on I took the negative comments said about him personally. I defended him as though he was my own son. My forever a fan moment was back in ‘16 at CAL. Being thrown to the wolves against UDUB the week before poor kid in his second college game gave everything he had. Lost in OT on INT and he started crying while sitting on the ground. I said to myself that this kid is going to be OK.
