The Untethered Soul and Surrender Experiment have been so life changing for me too. I read or listen to a chapter a day of Untethered and go through it over and over again so that I can internalize it more and more. I also love Danica's interviewing style and her deep curiosity! Very thoughtful and intelligent questions!

that is NOT what I was expecting..lol. I've been feeling all alone on this journey... in a World of 8 Billion Souls I felt alone. But I was "looking" at this all wrong. I AM growing, I AM expanding and I AM adapting, at a far faster rate than anyone in my friendship/ family circle. This conversation hit me like a bumper car nudging me to a whole new understanding. I'm going to stop looking down at the garbage inside, and force myself to just LOOK UP and reimagine my destination. Thank-you Danica for bringing Mr. Singer on to "hit me between the eyes" and get me to look up. I really resonate with the Energy you bring to your work/ Passion Projects!

What an awesome conversation! This is my first time listening to this podcast. I read Michael’s first book, “The Untethered Soul”, many years ago, it’s my favorite book. I’ve searched my whole life for a way to be happy, nothing works better than reading and listening to this beautiful man, and then putting his ideas into practice every minute, hour, and day of my life. Thank you Danica and Michael!

Incredible stuff, Danica. I've followed your career forever (worked with you and your sponsors a few times and ran in that circle). As impressed as we all should be with your racing, commentary and business careers and accomplishments, I'm much more impressed and inspired by your journey to discover and uncover, explore and explain and ultimately share your curiosity about life, love, our souls, and how we find peace therein... and ultimately share it with millions of people. Your guests are unbelievably on point (all of them for different reasons). Your humility is also such a gift that serves you so much in your journey. Thank you for sharing...

I recently made a move with my wife away from a job and town which we didn't find appealing for many reasons. While it was outside of us. Over three years of being there it became challenging to be "ok" inside with all the negativity surrounding us - particularly with my employment. I would enjoy hearing Michael's comment on us making this decision. Was it just common sense? Or are we too focused on preferences? BTW: the outcome has been incredible. It was the right decision.

What to actually do will come, once one thing occurs and that is thoroughly and completely understand what Mickey is pointing to. When that happens then it will be clear to you what you need to do or not do….don’t get ahead of yourself thinking that you are missing something….because that is not the case. You’re understanding will guide you once clear comprehension arises in you.

“New level, new devil”. Maybe the same issue yet presenting itself in slightly different disguises. The biggest problem with humans seems to be in taking what our brain “thinks” about, as important. My belief is that Awareness would prefer we be Aware, so It can enjoy Its creation with no distractions. Yet, I AM SO easily distracted…. Sigh. I’ve had a few moments when I’ve looked into another person’s eyes. And caught the thought, “the Creator is looking thru my eyes into the eyes of itself. And enjoying its creation.” And “Are my “thoughts” really mine? Or is the Creator having the experience and I’m mistakenly thinking these thoughts are mine??” It’s gets crazy in this brainbox. Which are the real thoughts vs ego thoughts pretending to be observer thoughts🤯 Good interview. As always, MS is an excellent teacher & your interview was genuinely inquisitive👍Thank you to you Both.

Expanding consciousness is our number one goal. Awareness is the key. Unifying the goodness/wholeness in each one of us, helps us build a bridge with each other. There is healing going on, if we allow it to help us we become the change we wish to see in the world. You know you are on the right path when you are rarely triggered by what others do.

So far I've watched about 7 of your shows and in this one I find your face to be extremely open and relaxed and always easy on the eyes 😊. This guy has IT though no obscure ideas just straight and simple logic to be aware of. I started meditating back in the early seventies my teacher wrote the book meditating with children, 7 or so different languages. I ended up being on the front cover 1st publishing. It's so amazing how far we've come from that Era. Centering and meditation was like a cult to the general masses. Anyway love your work love your style, love humble people and will definitely be getting this gentleman's book ...siimplicity is the design of a thoughtful person me thinks, never take anyone for granted I say, piece love namaste and Hoka Hay!!! I have been down many of these roads in my mind and soul, and I've arrived at just trying to have deep appreciation for the beauty this experience can offer. Any sort of gratitude practice can help with this, but for me it's all about getting outside and into nature that presents this opportunity. Whether it's a forest, the ocean, a butterfly, a bird, or just the color of the sunset, I find myself feeling high just in witnessing this wonder. The mantra could just be "thank you".... I'll admit this is hard when I'm at work or suffering some drama, but the opportunity is always there, and like any practice, the challenge comes when things don't quite align so perfectly. But just knowing that I can change everything by moving my body and exploring a new set and setting has all the potential to get me back to my happy place. I hope this can help anyone out there realize it's just a new thought pattern to get there! Find what you appreciate, what you think is beautiful, and move towards it!

23:30 instead of seeking, realize why you are closing yourself off to the wonders all around you, be open to them and voila, you need not seek. How? 23:40! I prefer that the experience I'm having is the experience I'm having. The experience is happening whether you like it or not so why not embrace the experience, without judgment, it doesn't mean you don't do something to improve the experience for you and those around you. 25:03 how to be happy in various situations. I think of: love the one you're with. The uncle example is so sweet and brings home the truth of how moldable are preferences are!

@gummisnoodable
@gummisnoodable 2 жыл бұрын
28:40 how to work with the things you cannot change, negative self talk, etc. 29:00!! It's okay to still sense the anxiety or whatever when you relax back to your seat of consciousness. They are separate. You are relaxed but your anxiety is not, but you can work to release it over time by letting it bubble up to the surface; by dealing with it instead of suppressing it and holding it in there for future years to come. In fact, you may feel it strongly and sometimes that is part of the process for the ones that are more deeply rooted but those are the ones that affect you the most and the strongest and that is part of the process to let them go. Start with the easier stuff or the low hanging fruit as he calls it. Like the person driving too slow etc.
@gummisnoodable
@gummisnoodable 2 жыл бұрын
31:33 sun example, it works like so many other things, paradigm shift or changing perspective is one lower level way to get the low hanging fruit and work up to more challenging situations successfully. What a beautiful example when you really understand the awe and wonder of our beautiful star, the sun.

Thank you so so so much for this interview. Very often in podcasts I find myself wanting to ask deeper questions. But with yours, it's so well done and you go really deep. So grateful 🙏 I fully resonate with the junk inside us that prevents us from being fully aligned /present. I've experienced it in a different way than you but it feels similar. Long story short, I do long distance trail running. Those races last up to 42h non stop, through high mountains. From 100k to 100 miles, I experienced those moments fully present. Why? Because I realized that if I don't fully surrender to the moment, my physical and mental capacity feels limited. And it feels like completely impossible to finish. Whereas if you dissociate yourself from time and distance and focus on doing your best at every single moment, you're going to cross that finish line. When I reach that state of mind, it's pure magic. The challenge now is to be able to live in that state on a daily bases, not having to reach the state if exhaustion to be able to do that. Sorry it's a bit long but this podcast really resonate with where I am in life Thank you for sharing and all your work 🙏

After watching this, an insight just came to me... for those who are alone or feeling lonely, you are focusing on your (pre-programmed) "Stuff", which is keeping you down. With the same Awareness, focus on breathing, relax and let go- then notice the Peace inside you and eventually this Energy that wants to flow (up). Let go of all the blockages and feel this energy moving, and let it cover you. Although I have never raced, I know that exact feeling with clarity- knowing exactly what to do and where the other drivers are/were, everything flows and this was during the Rush hours. No Ego, No thoughts, No fuss- just simply know and be in that moment.

Hi Danica! You are such a high energy, vibrant and captivating soul. Every word, thought and expression you make, not to mention your awesome guests, are a testament to that description… like attracts like, right! I just want to say that I have watched 4 shows since discovering you, and I have to admit, I have never heard of Michael Singer, but he is an amazing soul and am definitely going to read his books. GREAT show, I received much enlightenment from it. Thank you.
