After more than 9 years trying everything I could to stop using opiates , alcohol, fentanyl and living in pure hopelessness with anxiety, depression and anger filled inside me ,I did not know I would find the person who would make everything disappear immediately. The person I believed I was disappeared and has never returned thanks to Michael Singer’s teaching . There is no other way but this way!!! God Bless you Michael Singer for waking me up 🙏🙏🙏

I have listened to this at least 20 times. I feel grounded and feel such clarity after listening. I pick up something new each time. Micheal Singer’s words are moving me into another dimension of thinking. I feel so much stronger as an individual. And yet ironically I’m moving away from the “me”. Thank you Michael for sharing your wisdom.

My search for a perfect teaching stopped when The Untethered Soul came into my life many years ago. Life IS the teaching, all else are pointers. I still love listening to his podcast and ordered the new book that just came out. I feel very blessed to live in the times when such people are able to share what they realized by God's Grace.

I’ll never forget when I first stepped into a 12 step meeting , one of the old timers said .. and not even to me but it was for me . He said what goes on in your mind is none of your business . I have always taken it to heart because during a shift in consciousness the ego mind will try to pull you back in to the b.s . So I keep coming back and back and back and back as often as I need to to really let these spiritual principles and gems sink in deep . And I remind myself this is the most honorable holy intention I have for myself. to step into the Truth of my Being .

Agreed. Unfortunately many teachers get immersed into the monetary value of their teaching and lose sight of the message. Back in 1994 I did a two day forum centered around accepting the traumas of your past and seeing them in a different, non personal light. It was a fantastic experience that was full of insight and epiphanies. The business model was based on getting volunteers who have done the program to perform all of the non managerial tasks and it was successful because the volunteers were so enthralled in the experience. They even had ten week seminars that were offshoots of the forum dealing all aspects of life like love, creativity and money. It grew exponentially from this business model. Then the Harvard Business School made their business the focus of one of their years models to study. It wasnt long before the Ego started running the business and they raised the price for the Forum astronomically and the seminars were the same but marketed as being different because another person taught it. I dont know how they are doing today because I personally dont care...I paid my money, had the experience and moved on with life. But I do know that the number of attendees dropped significantly and quite a few of the areas where they held it were discontinued after that.

27:00 I get it. "It's the ebb and flow of life." My toughest challenge is the heartbreak I feel when I see those who are helpless suffering. The hopelessness I feel at those moments paralyzes me and I wonder, "what is the point." I definitely try to boost myself up saying, "I help out, I know others help out." But, I know the suffering is endless and my hatred of the human race grows. I'd like to understand the role of this hatred to my own spiritual growth. I'm getting bits and pieces from teachers like Mr. Singer, but it is one that I'm still battling.

If you are ready for it I would recommend Byron Katie’s book Loving What Is. it is about questioning your thoughts to find your personal truth. Interestingly when you inquire about thoughts and meet them with understanding, they let you go and there is an incredible peace. What is troubling you is not that people are suffering but the Thoughts they are suffering. These thoughts can hound you 24 hours a day even when there is no one suffering around you, even if the individuals who were suffering are no longer suffering because you will worry about future suffering. Your suffering helps no one. It only hurts you. Few can exit this endless wheel of suffering because it’s all they know.

I certainly won’t comply cuz then I’m taken advantage of; or I find neutral way to react, or maybe I guess some ppl just want to express aggressiveness and then if I let go, nothing need to be done. It is what it is.

I'm working through your program 'Living from a place of surrender'. Especially in chapter 2 you make it clear that the whole universe is impersonal, it happened by forces way beyond our personal selves and we can't do anything about the moment in front of us. But further on it seems to me that we áre doing the keeping the garbage inside, and we cán actively do let it go. It confuses me. Are we doing one thing and bot another? I guess my question is: Can we, or are we doing anything at all? Or is the universal force doing everything, and decides what comes our way and when, what (garbage) is inside of us, and how and when it will be let go? So all we can do is sit back and watch? Admittedly I am someone who is greatly struggling with the garbage inside which is sticking like crazy, and wanting to let it go and be happy and free.
