Not only Cups & Balls, whatever magic he does, he does it slow and smooth with an artistic touch yet he still fools me every single time I see his performance.

In my opinion he is the best close-up magician. I love his version of The Cups & Balls, I think he preforms it the BEST & has such a smooth and natural presentation

I just met this guy last night, at his lecture in Longview Texas. He has some awesome tricks that he can do right in front of you without you seeing a thing. I never saw the wine bottle until he threw up his silk cloth.

It's all on Ammar cups and balls dvds volume 2. Quite involved though and the wand spin vanish takes ages to learn.
@kingrobert1st6 жыл бұрын
Yes I'm still struggling with it.

it's pretty obv how a lot of this is done, at least it is now after i've lived in the world for decades. also at 0:50 you can see him put the ball on the cup as he misdirects with the wand. not to criticize, it's great stuff, i love table magic and his sleight of hand is of course very smooth

@Jaredismee Its not a "fail" if you are watching this live. You youtube nerds just watch the video over and over again and miss the point. Magic is supposed to be seen live, not in videos.

The point is to enjoy..Everyone that comes on here wants to expose magic and tip off everything right in open..The point of magic is entertaining not try to catch every move someone does and plot the magician out..True magicians dont do that
@eugenelayton52313 жыл бұрын
I think you are wrong. You say that everyone who comes in here is trying to expose how a trick is done. PROVE IT! Also there is nothing wrong with following a magicians moves as he's perfoming. It's a natural instinct. A magician is trying to fool the spectators, therefore spectators may want to figure out how he does the trick. If the magician has his chops perfected AND his patter is good most people will go along with him and enjoy the performance. Sometimes the patter is too unbelievable or the magician doesn't know his chops or maybe a group of people DON'T want to see magic then the magician will fail. Not everyone wants to see "magic", no matter how good the magician is.

So? You haven't proven your point. But why get upset because someone doesn't think like you do? I thought we live in a country where we are free to express one's opinion. You said that EVERYONE who comes in here is trying to expose magic secrets. Once again, PROVE IT!

Hey guys, I want to know who your top five Magicians are. Here are mine... #1. Michael Ammar #2. Jeff McBride #3. Tommy Wonder #4. Dean Dill #5. I hate being cliche, but David Copperfield.

@MagicMan982 The one's I have are about his card tricks. I like the way his vids are laid out. First it has the performance, then comes the step by step to how it's done. The only thing I need to do is transfer them to DVD so that they don't go "bad" :)
@burnleyize12 жыл бұрын
I think anyone who watches magic purely just to catch "the method" is missing a lot. Ammar is a consumate artist, one of a small group of pros who can make miracles happen right in front of you! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the visuals. ALLOW the magic to happen! JM2 centsW

@Jaredismee It's not a fail; magicians call this strategy. While he's operating high with the wand everyone is looking there to see if they can see the ball appear giving him an open freeway downlow. Strategy worked on you.
