No kidding 😂 Maybe KITT's ac wasn't enough for him. I mean, he mentions liking Devon's convertible in Soul Survivor, which of course offends TV-KITT, and then in S4 KITT finally gets the convertible mode, and Michael used it a ton, so he definitely liked it. Maybe he just loves the feel of the wind. - but then again, who knows, that's the beauty of things that just aren't spoken. They need to be seen.

I actually remember the ad in the TV Guide for this episode. It was a photo of Michael & K.I.T.T. & the "General Lee" behind them & I think the tag line said something like *"The competition is NO COMPETITION!!!* - Total dig at The Dukes of Hazzard & the actual General Lee.

I absolutely love watching that commercial where they compare 'the competition' (which is obviously the General Lee without the paint lol), and then 'Knight Rider'. It's absolutely hilarious and it just goes to prove how futuristic and mysterious KITT is. I often think about the fact that exactly what KITT had under the hood (in the Knight Rider cannon I know they mainly used the stock 305's for the filming cars lol), because FLAG kept the specifics a secret.

I know the S12/S13 are the more popular 80s 200SX but the S110 needs love too. My secondary 80s Nissan sports car is my 86 Pulsar NX. Finally got a decent carb from Autozone of all places and now its running much better

I've seen this episode countless times! And I SWEAR, I never paid attention to the fact that *Michael's HAIR, doubles as a HELMET,* in this episode! Every other driver in the race is wearing a helmet. But Michael isn't? Is he worried that KITT, would be 'offended'?

I noticed that my first watch through and had to laugh! He hardly ever wears a helmet when he's supposed to! The only time I really remember it is in the Slamming Sammy's episode where he had the custom MK helmet that Devon later uses in the show. But to be honest, there is a chance KITT would take offense to that, you're right 😂 He's our favorite car drama queen. And that's the truth.

When the Dodge Charger pulled up to the starting line, I was surprised that how much it looked like to the general lee, it was even orange and a 63, also, there were 2 cars that I have in nfs heat that I was also surprised to see in this video, the Dodge Charger 63, and that yellow boss.

Is it just me or did they use live ammo? 4:31 they might have screwed this timing up really badly because the explosion on the tire was a second too early. And if you notice there's a bullet hole on the side of the car. But when Michael gets to the car they tried to avoid showing the Bullet Hole but obviously it's not there

Apparently, the Knight Rider' production team had some pull at the auto prop lot and managed to get their hands on one of the 'Dukes Of Hazzard' Dodge Charger stunt cars. They used Sheriff Roscoe Coltrane cars in other episodes. Also,...Michael is the only driver not wearing a helmet.

It's also ironic that the costumes for the two people in the charger are inverses of Bo and Luke. Or Coy and Vance if you want to be technical since Dukes I believe was in it's 6th season after the train wreck that was season 5. Although season 5 may still have been airing at this point when this was filmed.
