I remember watching this video the first time around 2001 on my Pentium II PC, I found it in a CD of random rare videos in an era where Internet was not for everybody, I watched it and rewatched it and rererererewatched it for a countless number of times. Priceless era and video.

Lol I remember that era very well!!! I bought this from Metal Method for 56 bucks lol I applied for a credit card just to order it. But not online!!! Out of a Guitar World magazine! You got the DVD and one copy of the TAB 😂 My parents wouldn’t give me their credit card because if you remember in that era you speak of, online purchases were a sure fire way to get scammed lol. I waited 3.5 weeks and when it finally came I didn’t stop playing guitar for weeks. Skipped school didn’t go out, and I only learned it up to the neo classical section. I was also kind of bummed because I didn’t have a 24 fret guitar at the time so I couldn’t play exactly the same. Still was lot of fun!

00:44 - Batio's picking technique ... man, where do you start? Firstly, his particular hand position, shape and economy of movement mean that it almost looks like he's gently scrubbing up and down the guitar strings. As for actual pick movement, it's seriously hard to see and that's testament (partly to the low-res video HA!) to his awesome technique. You know what I love the most about this piece and this particular rendition? Those blues moments with his pinched harmonics. Tasty.

@scottwill196 жыл бұрын
no. les pauls dont have that pointy tail by the fretboard. it seems to be a cross between a les paul and an ibanez destroy that dean created. weirdly enough they slapped the dimebag darrell style headstock on it for some reason which is weird.
