These, kids, are what we used to call "musicians". Singers who actually sing without autotune, and musicians who actually play their instruments, LIVE. You'd never know that these fine gentlemen have aged 30+ years....Morris, Jesse, Jerome and the boys have still got it.

so zapp and roger wasnt real musicians

@box5bastard2775 жыл бұрын
And actually have A different rhythm than everyone else, unlike today where most sing the same exact way yell
@box5bastard2775 жыл бұрын
@@KMOSE500 zapp also would feature a Shirley Murdock or a charlie Wilson as well as other strong vocalist. Plus Roger's stylings on the talk box was done in his own fashion and not song exactly like everyone else who used something similar. You wouldn't really mistake roger for Frampton, unlike today where damn near everyone who uses auto sings the same notes over the same type of beats! Yell
@paulhue863 жыл бұрын
@@KMOSE500 Roger was indeed a REAL musician. He was a great pianist and composer, but he did use synthesizer. The difference between somebody like Roger Troutman and the hiphoppers is that they have no musical training, so they have to “sample” or “create beats”, and the result is flat and soulless.

People just dont understand how GREAT this band is. You have arguably the greatest music producers of the past 50 years with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The second greatest Hype man ever with Jerome (Flava Flav is the 1st). And one of the all time great guitar players with Jesse Johnson. Jesse is up there with Hendrix, Van Halen, Hazel, SRV and Vai.
@yankees29 Жыл бұрын
Jesse is an incredible guitar player. They are all extremely talented musicians. They had to be to hang with Prince. Morris is the ultimate front man/showman.
