Dear Mr. Buble'. You are the "Sinatra" of this generation. I Love you, Man. I was always a wanna be singer. Sang for fun on Cruise Ships, in Hotels and some restaurants; even did a concert for a church fundraiser with over 300 including my kids. I got very sick last year and continue to have difficulties. Not working anymore. This video is one of my favorites. It hits on so many levels and the pictures and faces of the subjects resonate with the lyrics. Guys I just lost the love of my life. I had waited for her for 50 years. We were both married initially so there were complications but after our marriages ended, we were together 7 full years. Eye of the Beholder, but she was the most beautiful, sensitive, kind woman I have ever known. And I have known a few. Left me the other day for some personal family reasons and of course I am devastated to the point that I wonder what the hell I am still doing in this world. I love this song . We played it at my mums funeral . I looked after her for over 20 years with dementia. Ur comment made me cry....my mother passed away in june22 after suffering from alzhiemers first diagnosed in 2008 at only 57years. My brother dropped everything and took care of her until her passing. I moved mountains to support both from day 1. I still wonder how did i survive some of those years and months. Only had one goal in my mind ,to make sure both of them were fed and her treatments nothing else mattered. I still consider myself fortunate cos even while her memory was slipping away i found a brief moment where she was aware in the early years to ask her forgiveness for all the heartbreak i caused her as a child. Her reply was "a mother always forgives her child". I bawled that day, i was on the way to the airport going to work after holidays , bawled all the way for hours....... If only she had few more good years to see her children make it in life. I'll happily give my years to her if its possible so she can see her kids.

So much hurt in this world, so much pain, but never forget we are never truly alone, all it takes to lift that deep, dark mood that can take us all at anytime during our lives , is to just reach out. this reminds me of my mom we don't talk and we never see eachother an she randomly came to my home worried about me she hugged me crying and it broke me to see her cry she said i push people away an why do i lock myself away and why don't i come to see her and i didn't tell her i feel lost that im ashamed because i don't want her to think she failed me because she didn't i failed her but i'm strong because she was my mom an the fact she didn't baby me or be emotionally supportive like i thought i needed helped me the fact she was so distant has made me stronger and be able to look after myself and i am not so naive anymore i can love myself i don't need others to love me its something i can want but its not something i need because she made me strong like that to love myself she can never fathom how much i love her
