No wins inside the top 5 and was calling for a second title shot before the Dustin fight. Lol. Only fight he wasn't dropped in was the Hooker fight.

I talked to Dustin probably 5 times. In his home. Very genuine, very humble and down to earth. Dustin doesn't fake it. He had major issues with UFC's request to act and sell the fights because he can't fake it and he doesn't want to act. He just wants to fight. That's why he said he didn't love it anymore. It was the politics, not the fighting. Him and his wife both are truly sweet people.

It's strange, Chandler eye poked Gaethje once and had controversy vs Poirier for illegal moves but other than that, I don't really remember him cheating yet people have immediately branded him a dirty fighter when everyone, champions or otherwise, from Poirier (toe locks against Conor, eye pokes against Gaethje) to Gaethje (eye pokes against Poirier) to Usman (eye poked Colby, faking nut shots against Colby, cage grabbing against Colby and Edwards, back of the head shots with Colby) to McGregor (kneed Khabib when down, glove grabbed him) to Edwards (fence grabbed against Usman, accidentally eye poked Belal) to Colby (possibly eye poked Usman) to Aldo (late hits after the bell with Mendes in fight 2, prevented a big takedown by grabbing the fence in fight 1) have all fouled over their career. Why is Chandler suddenly being called a dirty fighter from one fight?

Chandler should maybe take an example in Gabriel Varga and Alex Pereira if he wants to start collecting belts: design a gameplan for every specific opponent (or get a coach who does that for him). He fights every fight the same (brutal and impressive )way, as if opponents are all the same.

Michael needs to change his body composition to reduce that bulk. Like he said he's stepped up in competition. He was spent at the end of the first round. The counter punching in UFC Will smash him. Michael is one of my favorites. He needs to address his training and corner, they may be what's holding him back. Nothing against the guys who got him here, but even in the Olympics , once you're accepted to the team they train and feed you. Or, at least have these guys reset their thoughts. Very good point, and politely expressed. Changing his body composition will take time, firstly he needs to stop taking steroids and muscle building PEDs because that is compounding his problem of excess muscle mass, which causes him to gas out quickly. He's also a narcissist, so he won't change unfortunately. In his mind he is right on everything, as this interview shows. Examples being that he denies cheating, denying both incidents that he is clearly guilty of. I'm a fan of his fight style, but Dustin is right about this guy being fake.

I agree with you, michael is the only one explosive enough to finish him in the first round and stuff a couple takedowns before getting the finish. but round 2 and up, islam all the way. benny is another prospect tho, he stuffed a lot of gamrot's takedowns and hes pretty good on his feet so he also has a chance
