When I was mining and living in Northern Ontario in 2000 a buddy and I took a trip to Scottsdale and took in 3 or 4 games when the Coyotes still played in Phoenix. That was quite the set up! In the one end you couldn't see from the blueline to the goal! Had to switch to the scoreboard to watch the play! Luckily we never had tickets there, but did check it out between periods. I'm crippled up these days and have been watching lots of KZbin to pass the time. So glad to have discovered you guys this winter. I haven't laughed so much in years! Fellas. Flyers fan here. Love hearing you mention them a little bit. I wanted to touch on the tanking issue. I would argue that building a winning culture is more important than tanking for this team. We finally have solid upper management in place with jonesy and briere. We have a solid group of young talent in Foerster, Tippett, York, frost, cates, brink, farabee (not even including gauthier, michkov, and bonk.) Long term, I think giving these guys a taste of winning will be more important than tanking for a couple of years. The well run organizations are able to find talent at any spot in the draft, so with the new management hopefully improving things, I don’t think having a top 3 pick is as important as simply winning games. You play to win the game

1) Had 31 assists in 77 games and was a +20. 2) Cleared the puck, moved it quickly into the offensive zone and could two -line pass to the other player's tape with eyes closed. Check John Tavares' quotes on Del Zotto. Del Zotto never fulfilled his promise of his early years and his improved time in Philly, but he played over 700 NHL games, which I believe are 700 more than you or I played.

MDZ was pretty decent on the Sens tbh lol, maybe had a rough stretch to get him sent down but it was immediately crystal clear that he did not belong there. When he got called back up too he was absolutely lighting it up. As far as vets that the Sens brought in to mentor the young guys during those dark years, he was probably the best player out of all of them. Really weird how they handled that whole situation, but it is (was) typical of the Sens to use the wrong guy to set an example. Things have turned around since, even under the previous regime they started listening to player's complaints about the food and facilities, etc.
