Micheals joker was spot on I loved it. It was a great joker and I grew up watching the batman animated series with mark Hamill. Mark his voice is the personification of the joker, and I gots to say yours was spot on and just everything I could want and more that vile wicked voice. I wish I could talk like that cause I got the face of a joker but my deep voice kills the potential.

Take the understated, silent moments where Joker is at his most conniving. Give him a lot of age to match with Bruce's aged body. Refine that, stir and sift through the sweet aroma of snide and impeccable craftsmanship Michael Emerson has shown and you get a performance that rivals if not topples Heath Ledger's and outright destroys Leto's reimaginings. I loved how it crawled to the back of your scalp whenever he talked to convey Batman's frustration at the voice or joke he could never silence.

His performance as The Joker is amazing. It's an older Joker he's not going to have the same spring in his voice as Hamill. It's a reflection that sometime down the line The Joker grew tranquil and his game with Batman slowed down. But when he fights Batman in the tunnel of love and when he murders the innocent people he's still the same Joker and as dangerous as ever.

I can’t imagine Mark’s voice with the Returns Joker. Emerson really nails that idea that he “loves” Batman. The way he says “darling” is perfect

@@timothywillox8564 I know I don't get people who say they want Hamill for this version. I don't see Hamill's working at all for this version at all. Unless Hamill did a different voice obviously. Emerson is one of the most iconic jokers due to the blocky simple design, the voice, the way he's used and the music by Christopher Drake.

I thought he was fantastic. There was a completely apathetic and detached quality to him in the early scenes. Later, during his murder binge (like an addict relapsing and loving it), I thought he knocked it out of the park.

this version of the character, the movie but also the comic too is just iconic to me. The music is a big part of that too but it's not just that, it's the cleanliness, the way he carries himself so calmly with purpose, his face is literally just the joker but older as in the colors are muted and nothing else. A comatose Joker. It's just so well done. Peter Weller as older Batman is also calming and soothing to listen to as is Emersen's Joker. This interview shows he understood this version of the character or tried to make it his own and live true to the name JOKE-r. Mark Hamill, Troy Baker in Arkham Origins and Jeff Bennett for Golden Age Joker (even though he played silver age joker) is who I hear as the voices. I'm very particular. Like EpicLloyd in Deadpool vs Boba Fett is the person I feel has voiced him best of everyone even ryan reynolds. Anti-hero/ hero Deadpool I feel sounds exactly like that, maybe not villain deadpool but idk what he would sound like.
