A great example of how gratuitous lifestyles have a cost. What higher cost is there when the guy that pulls the trigger is torn between what he has done as an enforcer and the gray area in his emotions that will never forget the tragedy. Another great story that has its own moral. I feel compassion for Sammy who is haunted by many misty apparitions. Thank you, Michael.

I love the pure exasperation at 4:07. It’s like, “are you serious with this fucking question?” You ask any grown man, ex-con or not, former mafia member or not, they’ll tell you the same thing. You protect your family, period. Someone comes after the people I love, they better take me out first. That’s just human nature. It’s one of the reasons we’re so successful. The love we have for our friends and families, and the cooperation that is fueled by that love has enabled us to do things that would be impossible alone.

Looking at a woman (or man if you're gay) and not married to that woman, and thinking anything sexual. Having an angry thought about a person or any other little sin is sin, so its impossible for any human not to sin and thats a fact. Turn the other cheek doesn’t mean let someone mortally hurt you or your loved ones, or even an innocent stranger in your surrounding, it means swallow your pride, a strike on the cheek is a public disrespect and attempt to escalate a conflict from verbal to physical, Christ said to turn the other cheek, it is a command of humility, denying your own pride, remember He also instructed His disciples to purchase a sword , self defense and preservation of life is a God given right, a slap on the face hurts the pride ore than the body

4:16: Vlad jumps too hard at the "turn the other cheek"....scriptural context is key. Somebody turning the cheek when slapped doesnt equal not defending a threat on your families life. The point of "turning the other cheek" in scripture wasnt about laying down and being a wimp when someone hits you. It meant when someone slaps you to humiliate you, that you reverse that shame. you slapped me to shame and humiliate me...but guess what?.. You didnt get the response you wanted....You wanted me to cower or to respond with the same or more violence...I defied both and now the shame is highlighted on the aggressor...you didnt hurt me so "here take the other cheek too" ...I got so much of Christ's love and peace in me that that slap is nothing.. No retaliation is needed... Even After that slap you can force me to walk a mile with you....and guess what?...I'll walk another mile with you just so know you cant break my spirit. That's the point. It doesnt mean I wont kill you if you are trying to kill my family...even though I dont want to.

Once Sammy was given the contract, had he done ANYTHING other than what the order was, the guy woulda still got killed, except Sammy would've gotten clipped & wound up in a hole, just like the guy he was sent to clip in the first place. Guaranteed. Period.

Michael and Sammy have this odd love hate relationship lol. It’s more love now for sure they seem to have smoothed things over but they were going at each other for a while before their sit down. I think they both realize how mutually beneficial a friendship would be for them.

“Turn the other cheek”, Ofcourse. But there is also a core principle in Christianity. John 15:13, “For there’s no greater love than this, that a man lay his life down for his friend” some translations say “for his loved ones or close ones” Michael. You are a believer. God agrees with you defending those you love. Even if it means sacrificing your life and freedom by taking there’s.

Yes, it is a surprise Vlad. No one goes in saying I’m gonna break the rules and get killed one day. Every person, every single one goes in saying; “not me, it’ll never happen to me”. I live for this life, respect this life, follow the rules. Every single person and in every single organization crime group too; the mafia, biker clubs, gangs etc.
