So the meowing during the interview is actually a joke from the movie Super Troopers called "the cat game" where the goal is to meow as much as possible during a conversation. Braves reliever Tyler Matzek challenged MH2 after a game in Miami and that interview was the result. He even slipped a meow in during his contract extension press conference a few days later.

moneymike meow Thanks for sharing, here's hoping that he can be a special and amazing player for us, we've fallen in love with Frenchy and Heyward before but they just didn't live up to the expectations we had for them... Braves have been blessed in CF with Andruw and even Inciarte for a little while
@GaIeforce Жыл бұрын
Michael Harris II was drafted 98th overall, so a lot of teams missed out on him, but man, the Marlins... the team that REALLY could have used his glove and his bat in CF, instead chose J.J. Bleday, Kameron Misner, Nasim Nunez, and Peyton Burdick as their draft choices before Harris II came off the board. And now you're wondering why they've been languishing near the bottom of the NL East standings with no answer to CF as none of those four prospects ever developed.

@@cstinybaby Yeah fair enough maybe people don't know about it as much as I assume. Also I literally just explained that yes it is for engagement and at the same time I also am genuinely curious who actually watches the vid to the very last few seconds. If you spent hours upon hours writing, recording then editing a vid, you think it wouldn't feel good to know that a good chunk of people watched the entire thing all the way through?

I dont like OPS+ and ERA+ as stats. They compile to much information for it to be reliable. Also there is major difference between a .200 and .300 hitter, just because one has more power doesn't mean they are equivalent. Tyler Glasnow even said said he doesn't like facing Xander Bogarets because he can grind out at bats and he will take his singles. And ERA+ became irrelevant to me when it said Julio Urias was better than Sandy Alcantara but it didn't account for another 60 innings pitched and complete games
@mikejones5836 Жыл бұрын
OPS+ and ERA+ just compare OPS and ERA to the average player for the given year it's being calculated for, with the average player always being 100. Urias had a lower ERA than Alcantara did last last season, so of course his ERA+ is going to be better for that season. Doesn't necessarily mean he's the better player, it just means he gave up slightly less earned runs per nine innings. It's more so used to compare players over different seasons since it factors the league run environment for particular years.
