Thank you both for the great interview and the inside information about this brand. No doubt Lange & Söhne is one of the most innovative brands in the world. Lange 1 was long time a watch no other brand would try to copy, Datograph is unique but Zeitwerk is a masterpiece without any competitor.

I really enjoyed watching this...but it would be much better if they could have actually showed the watches they were speaking of. It is frustrating to not be able to actually see what they were talking about.

Great content always. Unfortunately the watch market has gone to 💩 and it’s a real waste of time talking about pieces you can never get. 🤷🏻♂️

With patience, you can get most watches. Not as fun as being able to walk into an AD and buy a watch. There are tons of great brands that one can do that with though, just not 4 or 5 brands and 12 or so watches.

Absolutely agree! And those who can afford the crazy premiums on the grey mkt are just collecting for validation and the wrong reasons

Alp needs to teach Michael how to correctly pronounce A. Lange & Söhne.

Can someone coach up these new hosts to stop saying “yup/yeah” every 30 secs… super f*ckibg annoying… it’s not even something that’s normal during regular conversation, let alone an interview style….

I miss Mike. Bring him back along with weekend market update! I love hearing if he's back in Philly, or in Connecticut, and how the NY Giants are doing.

Mike is still on “around the crown”. What they had said was they felt like market wrap was going to get repetitive after that many episodes. Which idk if I agree with or disagree with, just what had been said.

The interviewer really distracts from what his guest is trying to say with all the "yes" interruptions. I couldn't make it past the 10min mark bc of that. Interesting topic ✔️ passionate guest ✔️ Interview ❌
@tuerkischermeister2 жыл бұрын
you obviously are oblivious to who “the interviewer” is. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the Brand more than anyone on the planet: Have the courtesy to appreciate the fact that the collector is there also as a token of appreciation for Alp’s expertise on A. Lange und Söhne. Look “Langepedia” up on social media and then remain so petty, which I highly fathom you would.

@@alpsever5279 thanks for the reply! I was genuinely very interested in hearing more about Lange, but it became hard to follow along. I work in consultative sales so my goal is to speak 20% and let my client fill up the rest and the good interviewers do something similar. Give Fresh Air a listen, Terry Gross is a master interviewer.
