Maybe its just me but an ongoing issue has been tackle lanes I want to see the Defensive line and the LB'S put some heat on them when teams attempt to run the ball without blocking. Good win Though Green Bay was bound to be a tough game good team so that's a good point.

I think a lot of the tackle lane problems were due to field conditions honestly. Nobody could get leverage and looked like scooby do with the legs slipping all over the place. I wanna see a couple more games before I get worried about our front D you know

As an Eagles fan I think Dallas is gonna a be tough this year as well. The cowboys defense really impressed me against Cleveland. I think we will split again this year but I could be wrong it’s gonna be a blood bath when we play each other like it always is. Cowboys looked good and I can’t wait till we play each other!

They do it cause they have had a ridiculous sucess rate over 90% with it. The sucess rate of the eagles running the shove is about the same as the success rate for kicking an extra point.

That's two Cowboys legends this week who said Philly had an impressive win despite the mishaps. (the other being Troy Aikman). For it only being week 1, they displayed the ability to overcome mistakes multiple times, against a playoff worthy team. Gotta feel food about that. The chemistry between Hurts & Jurgens will only get stronger.

No doubt, the eagles didn't play well and still won, wait until they're running on all cylinders, the defense looked much improved, still not great but they only have to be middle of the road.

The defense looked amazing. They gave up 2-3 big plays. But other than that it was a great job. They started the game with their backs against the wall 2x because of the offenses mistakes. Neither time did they give up a TD. It could have been 14-0 very quickly

I was born and raised in Philly a Eagles fan threw and threw our feelings for that team in Dallas it's no secret I to say this I have nothing but love and respect for the playmaker Michael Irvin truly a good man when was one of the greatest playmakers of his time of anytime and them Dallas cowboys team's he played on my honest opinion with what they accomplished and who they went through to accomplish it playmakers they had the offense and defensive lines linebackers you can make a case that the cowboys that won them three super bowls beating teams like the San Francisco 49ers to Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo bills look Buffalo went to four straight super bowls they were a good team Dallas ran through them you can argue that was the greatest team of all time because they're going to dominate in the trenches they got The playmakers on the outside and at the skill positions quarterback they have the defensive line linebackers probably the best football team I have ever seen play what is the Jimmie Johnson 9293 back-to-back super bowl champion Dallas cowboys ain't nobody beating them teams

Great to get the win against the Packers who are a legit good team. Didnt want Love to get hurt but thankfully its a sprain and he'll bounce back. For a 1st game with 2 teams shaking off the rust this was highly entertaining. Hurts still has to work on playing hero ball but his best quality is he never lets stuff get to him and he never gives up. Go Birds!

The biggest was with Alexander... to be fair The Packers also got away with two defensive players jumping offsides for a sack. They literally got a free drive. Love was bettee than Hurts as far as less mistakes, but he threw behind his receivers a lot. Hurts had worse moments, but stepped up big. That Saquan wheel route throw was crazy. Running through two tackles for the first down. Smitty and AJ shaking tackles.

Valid point about the offensive line on the Brotherly Shove. However, what nobody is talking about is how the defense is ALWAYS lined up in the Neutral Zone when the Shove formation gets set. Refs just don't call it because they want to neutralize it (pun intended).

I've been an Eagles fan since 1968. I was disappointed by 2023 season. I was concerned about GBay. (Lived for a couple years in Wisconsin.) I was impressed by GBay. Didn't like Love getting injured. With him I think GBay can compete with Detroit for the division. Barkley was great, but it's good to have Gainwell (and Shipley).

Facts about the “clock killing drive”. I was hoping they’d get a td and force Packers to do something with 2 min left. Instead they got a fg and only gave the pack 27 seconds to work with. That isn’t ideally perfect but that is very improbable for most teams. They would’ve gotten the tush push td too if Cam Jurgens didn’t botch the snap.
