He's completely right in the spirit of it. So if you're a catcher and there's 2 people on base theoretically that means you HAVE TO give up a stolen base if they run. That's not fair in an industry where every stat is cross referenced across the board when it comes to shorting these players on their contracts

After the Met series and then the Red Sox series and then the Philly's series, we all will see how flawed this Yankee team really is. I doubt they win 2 out of the next 6 or 7 games and the Sox will be right on their heals for 2nd place in the AL East. I have said this for the past 2 seasons, I would not even mind if they end up dead last in the East and below 500. Maybe then we will see some real changes either in the manager or the GM or both. This is NOT working and has not been working for the past 10 years. I can care less if they made it into the playoff, they did not win the world series. It means nothing with that ring.
