I absolutely love this! Ray, you inspired me to collect the Schmidt PSA registry a few years back. I completed it with mostly PSA 10's except the older stuff. With prices so high, I ended up selling off most of it, but the journey was so fun. Schmidt is my favorite player of all time! Thank you so much for sharing this!

Ray, WOW! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯What a truly epic Schmidt completion!!! I love his rookie card, even with the 3 players! His 1980 Topps is one of my favorites as well! There is something about that card that just really works! His 1989 Topps and 1986 Topps are also right up there near the top for me! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, my collecting brother! ❄🎄❄🎄❄

Felt like I was watching my own video there for a second, Ray. Sorry I ‘missed’ you in Cooperstown back in 1995. I enjoyed the Michael Jack Schmidt documentary, but felt like I was just watching one of the many video montages I have seen many times before. Still, glad the MLB Network realized Schmidt was worthy of his own film. Love seeing your PSA run. You were the inspiration for me starting my own. Thanks for sharing.

thanks RJ. i agree. all of the footage they showed i already have. there's a video that came out call that ball's outta here. its about schmidt hitting his 500th home run. and they used alot of that footage

Great Mike Schmidt cards, Ray! As a big Schmidt fan since his rookie season, I watched the documentary and had to scratch my head why the fans would ever boo the greatest 3rd baseman of all time.

I didnt understand that neight. i would always say to my grandfather why are they boing him? We couldnt understand it. all he did was lead the league in hrs, make the all star team. win a gold glove every year. its because of the playoffs i get that but that wasnt his fault. that was danny ozark's dumb moves.

@@rayfromphilly6969 My philosophy as a fan is, if a player carries a team to the playoffs, then other players had better step up and help him during the playoff/WS. I think Aaron Judge is in the same boat in NY. He can have almost a triple crown season but he gets no pitches to hit (hey, I wouldn't want him to beat my as a pitcher either) and the fans turn on him. Oh well, I know I enjoyed watching Schmidt play and would never boo him, even though he was on the visiting team.
