His vocal teacher admitted that MJ had a deep baritone voice. He felt better (safer if you ask me) when he was talking/singing in a higher voice. Regardless, he has probably the most controlled voice I've ever heard and a 4 octaves range. Phenomenon!

I'm 45,always loved MJ too. I feel very privileged to say I saw him live in 1992 at Wembley Stadium, at his Dangerous Tour. I was 13 at the time, even now, at 45, I remember that day like it was yesterday. I come from a big family (8 siblings), my parents worked all hours to raise us, yet we still had very little. My mum didn't tell us we were going. It wasn't until we got there, did we realise what was happening. She even bought 2 merch t-shirts and although we had to share them between each other (siblings), we were so happy to do that. We had nothing as kids..... Yet that day.... We had everything we could've wished for. ❤ I'm thankful I got to see such a Legand! A legend that this world will never experience again and a legend that will never be forgotten. ❤
